Large selection of stores. Couldn't find parking in front so went behind mall. Nervous about back lot but well lit. Good signs to let you know where stores are.
Definitely the nicest shopping area closest to Melbourne. Not everything is here, if you want more of a mall experience head to West Melbourne, but there are a lot of smaller shops in Viera and also some big box places too. The main area is set up in a circle so it's a great place to walk between shops with restaurants and eateries in the middle.
Great shopping and dining! Everything you want and need! The kids loved to go to the movie theater on the weekends but after a few girls on a golf cart tried to jump her I stopped her from going.
I personally like this outdoor shopping mall because it offers a handful of places that are nowhere else in Brevard county (that I'm aware of!). There are a lot of unique stores for food and shopping, especially in The World Market. I like to end trips out to the area with The World Market so I can try a candy that is either from another country or even one of the store brand candy bars. I would Google search what is in here because I think there is a store for everyone to enjoy somewhere in this section of town.
It's nice, it's clean, it's safe. But they're missing quite a few of the bigger stores. No Cheesecake Factory. No Olive Garden. No Gap or Banana Republic - stuck with Old Navy. No Vickie's Secret, Brookstone, or Spencer's. And NO STARBUCKS? If you can get past the strange circular parking lot (which is very tricky to navigate) and a complete lack of rain covers or shelters, it's a pretty nice place with a decent selection of stores. A whole lot of room for improvement.
Not a ton of choices of stores but they're still building new ones. I wish they had more higher end stores like in Orlando. There's a plethora of restaurants to choose from and shopping options for pretty much all ages. It's outdoors and may require some walking or you might have to drive to the next place you want to go to. They need to get transportation around the avenues, it's all over the place. Probably the best shopping mall in Brevard County, I can tell you that much. Although it doesn't have a Macy's or a JCPenney. Christmas time is great here.
All to easy to lose an afternoon and a lot of hard-earned money in this upscale, modern establishment. Plenty of places to shop, eat, and be entertained. Even if you just want to relax, sit for a spell and people-watch; you can do it all at The Avenue.
Are you kidding? You can spend an entire day here if you choose and enjoy all the different stores and places to eat. It's my favorite place to stroll around and check out all the stores. Great place.
Normally the avenues is a super awesome place to spend a day, but lately there have been large groups of unsupervised children loitering around the avenues on the weekend. Last night on 9/17/2017 around 11 o'clock the police had to break up fights and coral around 100+ unsupervised teenagers into the front of AMC theaters. Needless to say my children do not need to be exposed to this when we are trying to shop and have dinner. Please rectify this situation.
Great shopping venue. Something for everyone. Even the non-shoppers they can go have ice cream, pastries or a beer! Lovely outside community space. Fun events. Walk outside on a sunny day or starry night.
I LOVE having the option of shopping without having To go to the mall. Nice day out. Dog friendly. Sit on a bench and watch people. Great atmosphere
This shopping center has a good variety of Shopping, Entertainment and Restaurants Very attractive but It's out doors so bring a umbrella. It's also down the street from other shopping strips, Just to mention a few, Super Walmart, SuperTarget, Shell gas station and there's freeway access so it's easy to find and get to. It's kind of a one stop shop, every thing you need in one big area.
I'm from out of state and only come to Florida twice a year. I always come to the Avenue, saves gas and time and I find everything I need.
Great place to go with friends
The mall has a beautiful central square that the family likes to visit so the kids can run around after lunch at one of the restaurants surrounding it. The mix of shopping, restaurants and entertainment makes The Avenues a great attraction that I have been frequenting for years.
This place is awesome. It has most of the shopping and restaurants you can think of. Viera in general is a new area and growing rapidly. This shopping center is even growing. The only thing I would recommend is more parking and larger parking spots as well.
Upscale shops and galleries. Nice landscaping and whimsical sculptures dot the property. The central garden and fountain is a very pleasant feature and is surrounded by a decent selection of eateries with patio tables. Many worthwhile stores are nearby, some an easy walk from the parking area. This is my favorite place to stretch my legs walking and then have a drink in the open air.
