Great coffee and light eats. Water Street Coffee Joint is the first place I stop when arriving in Kalamazoo. There is a small section of patio seating on the side that usually has seats available. Parking is very limited so you may have park down the block.

I've never had a terrible experience here but it's hard to stomach paying $7 for a latte in Kalamazoo, MI. Okay coffee with a kitschy atmosphere but they are absolutely banking off of hipster counter culture types who are willing to pay way too much for okay coffee.

I was parked outside of this place for almost a hour waiting for a client. I never seem so many white people wearing Northface in my life. Seriously.I counted. 8 out of 10 people who entered this place were wearing north face jackets, birth control glasses, too many scarves, and wool caps. No man was beard less either.great coffee though. Least those hipsters have that going for them.
