I recently bought a certified pre owned vehicle through Maple Hill, the process was easy, hassle free and no pressure. I worked with Ed and he communicated with me via my preferred method and made the process easy. All my questions were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this dealership
I had my girlfriends Hyundai in on a recall repair. I was absolutely blown away by how courteous, professional and friendly the staff was. While repairs were taking place, I talked to the service manager about a headlight issue the car had, he immediately offered to have tech look at. He not only took the time to walk the tech into the waiting room to explain the problem, (bulbs were installed upside down by Wal-Mart, proving you get what you pay for) but had it fixed for free. Granted, the issue was a simple fix, but when you factor in the awesome service, posh waiting room and a complementary car wash; I was impressed and will be returning.
Not all of the pieces of my car were replaced after they "fixed" the problem I brought it in for. They cleared the dashboard warning lights and within 20 miles they were back on plus a new one! The car is worse now than it was before it was brought in for servicing. When they followed up to see how my first servicing went I told the customer service representative and she offered me an "I'm sorry" and that was the end of the conversation. Take the time and go to an Independent garage like spring valley or autobahn or go up to Grand Rapids.
I was happy with the original purchase of my Audi and like the car. However, the two return trips for service have been less than adequate
Trip 1: standard 5,000-10,000 mile maintencae. Had a scheduled appointment and took my daughter with me as I didn't expect a long wait. Arrived early and wound up leaving over 2.5 hours after the scheduled appointment.
Trip 2: standard 15,000 mainetenance and I asked if they could repair a paint chip on the hood. They said have they couldn't, but that they could order some touch up paint. I agreed and asked for it to be shipped to my house since I live around an hour away. They said they could ship it and I confirmed my address. A couple of days later I receive a voicemail letting me know the paint has arrived and I can "swing in" to grab it. I decide rather than call to get it shipped like they were originally supposed to do that we will take a Saturday morning trip with the kids to grab it and get lunch while in Kalamazoo. I arrive to be informed that service is closed and not a single person can open the door to get the touch up paint. The less than helpful salesperson tells me, "I'm sure it is in there, but no one here can unlock the door".
I will definitely not be returning for service or to purchase my next vehicle.
Bought a 2018 from there today. Very professional and respectful people! Not a minute of uncomfortable moments. New car buying can be a little nerve wracking but they make it smooth and painless! Thanks Bob Warren for the smooth process!! Will definitely return!
I had sudden car trouble and there were no appointments available. Aaron Sayles told me to come in anyway and he would work hard to squeeze me in. He kept his word. His commitment to customer service is abundantly clear. Maple Hill Auto should be proud to have such an outstanding employee representing the company. I look forward to being a continued customer.
Aaron on the Subaru service team is really helping us out of a tough spot we were put in by another Subaru dealer. He and the MH crew have gone far beyond what they were really responsible for. We truly appreciate the effort you've put in for us. Thank you!!!!!
The first time I had one of my Subarus serviced at Maple Hill I was missed quoted by nearly 100% on an oil change. I was initially quoted $39.99 and then they said they misquoted me and charged me $74.99. I understand mistakes happen but that is a big one. Second time I came in I was told my oil change would take 30-45 minutes, I waited over 2 hours. I was so upset with their service department that when it was time to buy another Subaru I went out of state. While at the out of town dealership purchasing a new car I was told that they get a lot of customers from the Kalamazoo area because of Maple Hill. The last experience that lead me to write this review was when I went to get an oil change. They apparently have changed their policy and only do oil changes via appointments. I think this is a good policy given their history of time management but I wasn't aware of the change. The service advisor informed me of the new policy and that they sent out 8,000 emails informing customers of the change. I never received the email and their website doesn't say an appointment is necessary. I will drive to from now forward Grand Rapids to have service completed. Be advised of the experience you may receive at Maple Hill.
Tyler Eddy at Maple Hill Auto made my new car buying experience easy and enjoyable. He is knowledgeable, intuitive, and took the time to find the best fit car for me. Tyler was patient in answering all my questions and always responded quickly. I will be a return customer!
WOW!! I cannot say enough great things about this dealership. I had just started my vacation and ran into trouble with the power seat on my car. I called Steve in the Service Department and he told me to come on in. Once I got to the dealership Steve had 'the wizard' come out and take a look. Miraculously he figured out what the problem was with my vehicle and even had my car washed before sending me on my way. These two men demonstrated kindness and generosity as well as extraordinary customer service. Maple Hill has my business for life!
I called early on a Tuesday morning and asked to speak with the service department as I had a few questions I needed answered before deciding to have service completed at this location. I was put on hold and got bounced back to the receptionist several times before I was told I couldn't leave a message without having a name to leave a message for. I explained that I was considering their service department and just needed some basic questions answered before moving forward. Again I was told I couldn't leave a general message. She didn't offer to take my number and have a rep call me back or anything else. I would have to grade my customer service experience and F.
Great place of business. Our sales rep David was very helpful and understanding!! It was an amazing experience buying from them!
I left this dealership a few years ago because of a service experience. I took my Subaru back for recall issues and had awesome service from Josh Minners in the service department. I will be returning for future service and purchases as he was courteous, helpful and willing to help. Great employee!
Twice I have purchased a car from here, and the staff has been nothing but helpful. They are very willing to work with you, and actually care about what your budget is, and will do their best to keep within that. The service side of things here has always been good to me.
Long overdue thanks! Wonderful service from Steve and Al on my Santa Fe. On my way to Ann Arbor for an interview my power steering line blew, these guys made the repair no more inconvenient than waiting for an oil change. Can't thank them enough for quickly getting me into a rental vehicle so I could continue my trip and retrieve my vehicle on my way back.
