I walked through it. It takes a few hours, and a little difficult without water. But a nice walk, and a wonderful scene as you decent to south side of the mountain.

This place is amazing. My family really enjoys staying at their cabin. Has a great view and fire pit at night is perfect. Also the Wasatch golf course is one to the most fun golf courses to play at. Midway, the town close by, has about everything you need if you forget anything and the people are just friendly. So by far, this is one of my family's favorite vacation location.

Love, Love, Love hiking and snow shoeing the Wasatch Mountain State Park. From base Lodge..meet the park staff who are knowledgeable and friendly providing hiking maps showing difficult to easy trails. The Lodge is super clean with a neat museum showing flora and fauna found in the park area. Overall, this park will more than provide family hikes and entertainment with lots of high intestity hikes for all avid hikers. Hiking and snow shoeing is mostly uphill..so be prepared. One of my fave parks for loads of daily outdoor exercise. In summertime the uphill hiking can be a test of endurance; the temps runs in the high 90°, recommend lots of water and sweat towels. I love early morning hiking or before sunset. Deer are frequently viewed on the trails and may dance out in front or behind hikersbut no worry, they are harmless..just have your camera ready!! Step out, buy your daily or annual park pass and explore this beautiful state park. 😍

Beautiful place. I love coming here. Is a great place to get away from it all and get back to nature. The views can get spectacular! I live coming here for pictures and just a nice break. Do yourself a favor, and go enjoy nature.you will thank yourself, and so will the trees!

Lots of nice hiking trails, well-marked. Seems very family-friendly around the visitor center and lake. Visitor Center has some interesting exhibits. The staff member on duty when I visited was not particularly outgoing or customer-service oriented (did not say "hello" to anyone, just sat there looking at his phone), but that was minor for me as I did not need any assistance.

This park is has a tremendous amount of soothing recreational area. You may encounter wildlife and even an occasional fox. The mountain is beautiful and the park does really compliments the area.

Nice camping area for groups. There are spots for tents, trailers and even cabins with AC that you can rent. There isn't a ton of quiet secluded spots but an awesome place with tons of things around you.

I wish I had more time to spend here! So many cool things to look at like exhibits, maps, and some art. LOTS of brochures as well! If you want to know about outdoor Utah, you can find it here. I was hoping to get a hiking trail map here but they didn't have very good good ones..

We walked the Huber Trail. 2 miles total. It was a fun family bonding time. There are shades here and there so we didn't have to walk in the sun all the time.

Took the kids fishing at their pond. Fishing was great (damselfly imagine were key!), but when we arrived we were informed that parking was a $7 daily fee. This is not reflected on their website anywhere! I am a fan of pay-to-play but an even bigger fan of transparency in a state agency. If they want to change their policy, finebut update your website at the same time, please!

Great Spot! Easy to get to. You feel like you are deep in the woods but there is a golf course just down the road to get a quick fun round in and a pond and playground that kids can fish on. We love this place!

This review is for the cross-country skiing track. We brought our 3 kids here over Christmas and had a great time. We were the first there in the morning and it was groomed very nicely. Ski rentals were relatively cheap. Great place to do some laps and very serene.
