The hike is beautiful and not too difficult.. the hot springs are all different temperatures and are beautiful. It is very busy there a lot of the time and if you can't fit in the parking lot, you will get a ticket parking on the road.

Unique local hot springs in Utah. It's public and free. Getting to the springs requires a long up hill hike. The water is different in different spots. Sometimes hot, cold, or too hot.

This place gets very crowded. There will be a lot of people on the trail and in the springs. Parking is a challenge. Despite the crowds it's worth a visit.

As of this writing, the gate is OPEN. We went early this morning (7am) and had the place to ourselves. The trail wasn't snowy or icy, just packed dirt and frozen mud in some areas, but mostly really easy to traverse. It took us maybe 30-45 minutes (two fit adults).

There are a few pools with varying temperatures - the green one is great to soak in, medium warm. If you go nearer the waterfall there is a hotter, clearer pool.

13 mile round trip from the parking area to the hot springs in winter when the barrier is closed. This barrier is closed throughout Winter and is still closed at the time of writing this in mid March.

According to my iPhone pedometer and my cousins iPhone Pedometer it was somewhere between a 13- 15 mile round trip with the Winter barrier closed. A hike to the starting point of the trail from the parking area is around 4 miles. Therefore it should be anticipated during Winter this Hike will likely take several hours.

There are some slightly precarious points for children on the way up with some steep points that get muddy and icy during the Winter. Young children will likely struggle in the Winter.

The Hot Springs are an interesting to see and as ever it’s great to see such phenomenons in nature. It is a worthwhile hike but as for myself the hot springs themselves I was somewhat underwhelmed honestly. The place does smell. maybe it was the time of year and yes I probably should have expected the smell due to the large amounts of Sulphur, which go along with hot springs, but I didn’t expect it. The Size of the pools themselves are also very limited and crowded especially at weekends.

Overall my experience was a good one and if you are looking for a positive outdoor adventure this a good one. The Pools are warm and swimmable and free- just anticipate a long hike in winter and not to be blown away by the size of the Hot Springs, but enjoy the trail and the uniqueness that the area does ultimately offer.

Restroom facilities are available at the start of the trail as well as picnic opportunities and camping opportunities on the road leading up to the start of the trail.

The trail is not too strenuous, perfect for a casual hike up to the hot springs. The water is hot, but so nice! An amazing waterfall drops over a natural rock formations, almost like lava dripped down and cooled into the shape of the waterfall, leaving a perfect gap in the middle to poke your head through. A thrilling experience to have both the hot and the cold water run together. A favorite "hot spot!"

This place is for family. The hike is easy and decent. It’s not too far away from home either. It’s getting a bit cold out now. So bundle up and get ready to enjoy the hot springs. The sulphuric smell is a bit nasty. Haha

Absolutely wonderful! Would recommend some kind of shoes you're comfortable wearing in the water, the rocks are both slippery and a bit sharp so walking around between the pools is a bit precarious. Went the first weekend of October (Oct. 6th to be exact) and the fall colors were CRAZY gorgeous. Hike is easy and I truly believe any level of hiker could do this.

Beware of naked old men, but overall the people watching experience is well worth the mild hike. If you are feeling crazy, try going on the weekend where the pools will be overflowing with forest folk So I've heard, I'm not wild enough to attempt this much social interaction yet.

Easy hike to get here. Long and nonscenic, but easy. Once you get to the hot springs it's a nice place to chill. It can get crowded which can be annoying. In general it's a good place chill for an evening.

It's about an hour hike both ways. It's along a river and the whole hike is gorgeous. The hot springs has two waterfalls and about seven pretty good places to sit in a good sized pool of water earlier in the year. In tge fall the water levels drop, and the pools become hotter, from lack of river water flowing into them.

I was one of my favorite hikes due to hot springs, but this year the stanks seem to have lost their shapes. Over all is an amazing hike full of colors

So glad that I actually decided to check out the hot springs! We went on a Saturday night around 5 PM and it was not that crowded, maybe 5 or 6 groups of people, we went down around 7 pm though and passed TONS of people coming up, younger crowd so maybe a party was going to happen lol! The hike was pretty strenuous up but probably not bad for experienced hikers. The pools are warm and a few are HOT. It was definitely worth it to see this beautiful creation of nature.
