What a great restaurant. All the food here is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is also very nice and accommodating, and the owner will occasionally greet people and ask how their dinner is going.

Both food and drinks are so good. The brown sugar (maple?) Old fashioned is so good if you like bourbon. I also had the veggie sandwich, which was also very good. I will be back soon!

Great place to eat if you want a more upscale experience without the price tag. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the menu is amazing! Something for everyone:)

We love The Village Anchor! We have had our Christmas party in the Sea Hag for the last 3 yrs and it has been an amazing experience every time! Thank you for providing such a lovely environment and such fantastic food!! We love it!

This place is literally at the end of the road. It's a great environment, and with the professional down to earth staff, that are prompt and precise, you can't really ask for more. The decor is wonderful and the drink selection is of the best in the business. I will always recommend this place to anyone that inquires, and can't wait to visit again. The food is fresh, and the finer details are routine. Keep it up!

Neat decor with an awesome wait staff. Food was very good with ample amounts. Had the Cuban and a salad both great.

Service was good. While the server forgot a drink, on the whole he did a great job. The food was good, though I found the huevos rancheros to be more egg and less bean with little in the way of spiciness. The red velvet pancakes are good and rich, and the portions are enormous. Next time I would get a half order. On the whole, our party of six was happy with our visit.

Good food and cocktails, but a bit pricey. Definitely pulls in the trendy Anchorage group. Nice place for dinner but I'm not sure if this would make it in my short list of future visits. The service seem a bit slow and we were forgotten about towards the end (we ordered a dessert for the table that the waiter forgot to place) However I would still recommend trying it for yourself. Good out door seating.

I've only been here once, but I'll definitely be returning. $10 Tuesday is a great deal and the restaurant had a nice casual atmosphere, on the patio and inside. It's also a positive that there's a few picnic tables outside so that you can stop by the bar and wait for a table with a drink in your hand where it's not too crowded.

This restaurant would easily get 5 stars, but I'm sitting here on Mother's Day out on their enclosed patio sweating! The A/C isn't on and warm air just flowing through the enclosed patio area. Every family in here is complaining yet management doesn't seem to care. I visit here frequently and would normally give this a 5* rating, which I rarely do, but they dropped the ball on customer service/experience this time on a special day for all the mother's out there. I recommend coming to this restaurant, just not for busy special occasions as their service is well above their normal experience.

Excellent food - casual dining. Although it edges on the moderate priced side, this place has very reliable quality and service. The fish tacos are my favorite along with the bacon (on whatever it is served!). The summers here are great as they open up the sides of the outdoor seating. But don't get me wrong, the winters are nice too - fireplaces and blankets keep you nice and warm. No Guinness on tap here or it would be my #1 go to. What I found remarkable about this place is the service - this year we were called early and asked if we wanted to reserve Christmas Eve dinner reservations - they must keep track because this is an annual tradition for my family and friends!

Took my wife, my boss and his wife to dinner last night. Service was ok. Food wasn't. The goat cheese app. which I usually enjoy was over-breaded and over-cooked. They didn't put enough bread on the plate. Half the app was leftover with no bread. I got the salmon entree. The potato cake it was served on was horrible. The green beans on the side were as plain as they could be. My bosses wife got the meatloaf. She only ate 1/4 of it. My boss got the hot brown. He never commented one way or the other. My wife got a side of broccoli that was really a side of butter with lots of salt. My wife asked for some bread. She was brought a 3 inch price, like they were rationing it. My boss asked for bread too. It was embarrassing what they brought him. Our water glasses weren't attended to when we were read the desert list the only thing anyone wanted was to get out of there. Too bad. My out of town guests weren't treated to the kind of meal I won't be back again, and definitely won't recommend the Anchor to anyone.

Went for brunch a recent Saturday: loved the food, atmosphere. I had a " hotter brown" which is like the sandwich but casserole form; one word? DELICIOUS. What really made our experience though was the attentive service. Everyone really showed an effort to take care of us and our (ailing) mother. Samantha, our server, was MORE than patient with all of our questions and offered multiple suggestions depending on our food preferences. Thank you village anchor, thank you Samantha, you took care of us and our mother while we're are going through one of the hardest times.
