Delicious! Fantastic service and ambiance, but most importantly, their lasagna was excellent! Great place to go when you want a fine dining experience.

We went to this place while on vacation San Diego. The service was fantastic but the food was horrible. One of us had the Penne With Vodka sauce. She didn't eat but a couple of bites. Another in our party had the lasagne, it was terrible and mushy. One had the special and said it was ok. I had the Carbonara. It was probably the best of the bunch but still only ok. I don't recommend it at all.

To Jay Deal(Lying in your review), They have cameras, so you know. I witnessed everything and spoke to the staff. You were hovering over the host desk with glass of whiskey on the rocks(definitely not a plastic cup of iced tea).You stayed INSIDE, blocked desk preventing guests from being able to check in. Hostess politely stated "outside food and beverages were not allowed in the restaurant as the restaurant can be fined". You interrupted her, got in her personal space behind the counter to throw the glass violently in the paper receptacle, (which shattered the glass)disturbing guests seated nearby. Then you got in her face to say "excuse me" as if she were in your way. She didn't say anything. GM spoke with you and you said it was a misunderstanding and apologizedFunny how the story changes when you can hide behind a screen and type whatever you want.

It was our first time there. We both enjoy Italian food and been to many restaurants within the San Diego area.
The ambience and location of the place is amazing. The wine list is extensive, the food was was great, the proportions were surprisingly large.

It was a Tuesday night so the restaurant wasn't packed. The service was great and the food was delicious. I'm curious to try it on a weekend. Eating out in the terrace is very pleasant. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful when it came to giving feedback on menu items.
