Very cool, mellow atmosphere and decor. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Lobster bisque is fantastic.

The ambiance of this place gets a 5, and even if the food wasn’t great, I think the ambience would make me give it was 5. They have a variety of meats, excellent service (I think our waiters name was Ken), and it was all delicious. The margarita was great but I think a little too sweet. Otherwise it was great. We got the ahi tuna salad and the salmon with quinoa and the pistachio brownie dessert. They sat us in a separate room and it couldn’t have been a more perfect dinner.

My 1st experience here, and everything was perfect! Loved the unique atmosphere, the food was exceptional, and our waiter was charming and efficient. I would visit this area again just to have another meal here.

Atmosphere and decor were awesome. Drinks were yummy as well as the food. Our service was courteous and fast. Will go again. Everyone in our party was happy. I paid the bill and was happy too.

Everything is too salty, tastes like it comes out of a can. Very disappointed with quality of food. Complained to manager and response was "okay", no apology given.

Great lunch. Had soup and half sandwich. She crab soup and French dip sandwich was awesome. Ate in the bar area and was served by beautiful Melissa! Atmosphere there is one of a kind for sure. Love this place!

Great food, sometimes unique dishes. It can be pricy so often it's a luxury or fancy night out kind of place, which can make for a better atmosphere. The brunch on Sunday is awesome, too.

Very good food! The muffins you get with the meal are extra good (like dessert). We have tried many dishes and have liked most of them. Once our chicken in the chicken marcela was tough. Usually good service though we have had a time or two where it was slow. Great atmosphere!!

Andrea was very helpful. Calamari was awesome. It was very fresh and lightly breaded. The steak and country fried steak was also amazing. I would recommend this place. A very comforting environment. They make all dishes fresh and awesome. They are very friendly and safe environment. All in all i choose this place as a 5 star rating. This place is kind a nice and funky place. Not weird funky but a nice funky. Kid and pet friendly. 5 star

The atmosphere, food and location make this one of my favorite restaurants. The serving sizes are usually enough to take some home. The staff is always pleasant.

Good food and service. Menu is not overly big but had a nice selection of sandwiches, burgers and full meals. Lunch options included a 2 or 3 item selection with salad, shopping, and sandwiches. Prices were $10 and $14. Pretty fair. Dade City is quaint and offers some nice dining options for lunch. Go. Enjoy!

A friend told us that Kafe Kokopelli could handle large parties so we decided to go on Mothers Day. 12 of us went and everything was excellent. They had our table ready and seated us right away. Drinks and appetizers were out in no time. The Gator Bites and Calamari were spot on. Our entrees took a little longer but they were extremely busy and our server Jenny was great. We all shared a few desserts and really enjoyed the Bananas Foster which Jenny prepared table side. We will return soon with friends for a special birthday.

It was not good. Got there on Mother's day early and the place was empty. Sat and waited for someone to acknowledge us for almost 15 min. A large group sat next to usgot their drink order and food order before we had ordered drinks and appetizers. We finally got the apps. and waited over an hour for our food. 5 tables came in after us and left before we got our food. We were told it was the way the order went into the kitchen. When we got our food, I complained because one was under cooked and one was cold. So thanks for a wonderful Mother's day and mother is what I want to say to them.

Mixed feelings about Kate Kokopelli. Used to be a great place for dinner and after a few years, quality of food and staff declined so I stopped going. Recently went back for brunch, which was marginal at best, and was surprised how different the inside looked. Waitress was friendly bit the food was pedestrian at best. Will probably try dinner again as they used to serve a great she crab bisque and sangria. After a few years not eating there it might be worth a try again.
Update: went again 4/8/17 against my better judgement. Again, food was pedestrian at best and the waitress was less than accommodating. Fish tacos were devoid of fish and she never even voiced our concern to the manager. We got a different entree but really, no manager visit to the table? This is the last attempt for us here and it is a shame. What was a good restaurant has regressed into a major disappointment. I suggest to avoid at all costs.response / report this review
