Great customer service, everyone was very helpful. Got a new car at a great price. Recommend to anyone looking for a new car.
We have used this dealership's service department in past years. However, their prices have increased and the same services and better prices. vare available in good garages all over town. Example - a simple oil change and checking fluid levels plus visual check of key systems is $59-$69. Have found similar service for about $39 at Free Service and others.
This was one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Dominic was our sales person, and he was wonderful. He did a great job explaining all the features of the Highlander. He waited very patiently for us to make a decision. Lilly and Mark were wonderful as well. We will definitely be back when the time comes to buy another vehicle.
I cannot say enough good things about Johnson City Toyota! These guys are the BEST! They made the process of car buying painless. They even put new tires on my car before I left with it. This is the 1st time I have ever bought here, but after having such a great experience with these guys, I don't foresee myself ever going anyplace else.

Rob, Jimmy, and the entire staff were great to work with. We received an amazing deal on our 2017 Highlander that was worth driving 2 hours for. They really made us feel like family. This was the best sales experience I have ever had. I definitely recommend this dealership over all others and I will be coming back.
Had a fantastic experience purchasing a used Tacoma from this store. Our salesman, Ivan, was patient and helpful when answering my questions and concerns. He and the sales manager, Kelly, helped to get me the best possible deal I could get on my truck. They even delivered it an hour and a half to Boone, NC with a full tank of gas and a new set of tires. This was my first time buying a car at a dealership, and it was easier than I could have expected. With its friendly and knowledgable staff, great prices and huge selection, I highly recommend Johnson City Toyota.
Drove from Raleigh, NC to purchase a car. Best car buying experience by far. Nathan in sales did a great job! I drove over 4 hours and everything was done smoothly. In fact, the entire staff exceeded my expectations. Really nice and honest folks here. I highly recommend Johnson City Toyota!
I drove 2 hours to deal with the great people at Johnson City Toyota. They went over and beyond my expectations after receiving only a like warm reception from the dealer in Knoxville. Being a business owner myself I expect to be treated the way I treat my customers and they met that standard.
I actually went there to look at a used Tundra but after looking at the new ones and seeing the great special they were running I ended up buying a 2017 model.

I have already recommended Johnson City Toyota to a friend who is buying a new Tundra.
My review consists of two parts: The sales associate, and everything else. I've also waited until now (due to the tag issue described at the end) to submit a review to see how long it would take. Dominic Farmer was my sales associate, and I cannot speak highly enough of him. I was car shopping, and my old car broke down, so I had no way of actually traveling to look at a car on their lot. He volunteered to come get me, and I lived about an hour and a half away. He was nice, fun to talk to, informative, helpful.really, in all my years of buying cars, he's been one of the nicest and most helpful people I have worked with.
Unfortunately, it's everything else about this operation that lowers the reviews down to 2 stars. The car itself was wonderful. No leaks, just normal wear and tear. The garage their informed me that they had replaced a squeaking drive belt, replaced the rotors, and that they did a 100+ (forgot the number) inspection on the vehicle, including oil change, fluids, etc.
None of this happened. I had it inspected after purchase on my own, and the car has no leaks, period, but the tires were all different pounds of pressure, the transmission dip stick o ring had melted and stuck to the dip stick slide, the rotors had been turned (not replaced) and were crappy rotors that needed to be replaced anyway, and the brakes wound up needing to be replaced on the front, as well as the rear differential fluid needed topping off. The belt that was squeaking? Wasn't even the drive belt. It was the AC belt. As for the drive belt? Not replaced. Was just sprayed with belt dressing to stop the squeaking. You can see the results of this where it was thrown all over my engine compartment by the belt movement. All of this was easy to do myself, but I was boldly lied to in regards to it actually being done. Not by Dominic, I spoke to the man that was actually at my car doing whatever to it that they considered repairs.
Now, tag and title. The 30 day tag expires tomorrow, the 14th. I called them two weeks ago curious about my tag. "Oh you'll get it." Called last week. "Oh, you'll get it, but if not, call us right before it expires and we'll overnight you another dealer tag." I called yesterday. Was placed on hold while she went to talk to the lady responsible for it, and when she came back "I have it in my hand, we'll overnight it to you, and you'll get it tomorrow." Well, it's tomorrow, and I don't have it. Why in gods name would you wait until two days before the tag expires before you mail the tag to the customer?
I am so glad to have gotten Dominic for a sales associate, but am thoroughly annoyed at the rest of the purchase. The car I bought is wonderful, so I can't say don't buy here, but if you buy from this lot, have the car thoroughly inspected elsewhere BEFORE you purchase, and again after repair work has been done to it if necessary. Nothing that I needed to do was problematic for me, but being lied to about the repairs is really annoying.
Purchased a 2013 4Runner Trail Edition with about 80,000 miles. I traded in a Tacoma. I read plenty of favorable reviews on the 4Runner. Dustin and Frankie (Sales Mgr) put me in this vehicle and went above and beyond in making the transaction a smooth process. Encountered some small problems after owning it for a couple months (horn, AC drain, rotors). Returned to the dealership to have these problems addressed. Realized that these problems were not covered by the service/maintenance plan. After talking with Frankie, he went to his manager to see if they would cover the cost of the repairs. They went ahead and took care of these problems AND agreed to pay for the repairs! It has been a blessing to deal with these folks. Great team and top-notch organization! My satisfaction was truly their top priority. I'll be a loyal customer! Thank you, Dustin, Frankie and the sales/service team at JC Toyota!
Nathan went above and beyond to ensure that we left in the car we wanted at a price we could afford. The process was so smooth! Chris was super helpful in showing us how to use the different features on our car and he didn't mind to stay until almost 11 pm to do it! Josh ensured that we got a fantastic rate on our auto loan and we were super appreciative of his efforts! We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience! Thank you Nathan, Chris, Josh and the rest of the team at Johnson City Toyota! We will definitely recommend you all to our friends and family and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!!
