I have been in the burn unit ICU for a week now and everything has been absolutely great. The staff is extremely pleasant and caring. Food is good. No problems with visiting hours. I have no complaints whatsoever. I want to thank my doctors and nurses for taking good care of me. Thanks, Brian.

Poorly operated and ran. Keep me on the cardio floor even after I had major neck surgery. The nurses weren't trained to handle my situation and openly expressed that to me. Unorganized and would avoid if at all possible.

I have been receiving random bills from different people that Via Christi sent things out to be tested. The kicker is my "tests" was a CT Scan that was read in house 1 hour after taking them. Via Christi and their retarded cousin "Specialist In Lab Med LLC" have no idea what is going on and refuse to give me a straight answer. I feel like I would get more answers from a two year old in Mexico than I get from them. If you are wondering I do not speak Spanish.
I will sum everything up with this, I know for a fact if Via Christi and Specialist In Lab Med LLC were in the Special Olympics they would not get a medal, not even a participation medal.

I was in the hospital at St. Francis for four days. I had several EKGs, echocardiogram, MRI, CT Scan, and a heart catheter. I got a clean bill of health. The nurses were all outstanding and it was a very good environment. The only thing I disliked was that despite being in the hospital for four days my cardiologist, Dr. Chehab, came and talked to me for two minutes the first night I was there. I had a battery of tests -- including a heart catheter which he performed -- but he never stopped to talk to me about the results or anything. He would just send a PA in to talk to me.

I was hospitalized twice in a month here. The first time was amazing. Staff was funny, caring, helpful, and compassionate. The second time the staff was rude and sarcastic.

You will ask for the bill at the end of your visit. They will say your good, 5 months later you get a payment request in the form of financial help notifying you didnt pay. Then the website will not work, so you cant pay it off. If your also in the military and got sent someplace this will compound the issue Should have just went blind, would have been easier Billing and finance needs a massive overhaul at this
place

We have been patients there for awhile. My wife has a bad back and can barely stand. She was in so much pain we went there thinking they were going to help. Nope. The doctor was playing psychritrist instead of a doctor. Lectured my wife that this was an emergencyroom. When to put her in a chair so they could get vitals, I had to help her in the chair. When it was time for her to go they just pushed a wheelchair in her room and said here you go. Again I had to put her in the chair. When she told them that she was in pain, they got upset with her. I am too pissed off to continue this but they will hear from me tomorrow

The BEST experience with ANY facility in Wichita! I was having severe chest pains (something Ive never had before in my life) so I was scared of the possibilities. Now this is the first time Ive ever been here, all other treatments of prior places were DISGUSTING so I chose here and THANK GOD I DID!! I was treated like a human being through out all my testing from check in to check out. They moved EXTREMELY fast especially for how busy they were. They GENUINELY listened to my concerns. Turns out, I'm OK and couldn't be more appreciative for the staff and doctors who helped me. Thank you so much. Would ONLY recommend this hospital out of all Wichita hospitals in general. These people actually Care!!

After a heart surgery it took them 5 hours for dismissal with no instructions, no wheel chair to get to car 3 blocks away. Prescriptions not given that surgeon prescribe. Snack was denied for diabetic between meals. Was told no restrictions even with verset and phetnal. I guess you can drive after that if you don't kill someone or get a dui..very rude staff on 5th floor!!!!!!!!!!

Our daughter had surgery on December 22, 2016. The nursing staff was amazing very caring and professional. We couldn't ask for better care. Thank you to all the Via Christi staff who cared for our daughter during pre-op,surgery & post-op. A special thanks to all the nurses on the 6th floor and Dr. Bradley Dart.

I would have given 0 stars but that wasn't an option. Took my husband in to be seen in ER. After sitting over 2 hours my husband needed a cup of water for a uncontrollable cough due to how dry the air is in the hospital and could not even get a nurse to get one for him. Are you kidding me. While I've sat watching at least 2 snack on their snacks and 1 on their cellphone. Would not recommend at all. The lack of customer service is terrible here. After waiting 15 minutes I eventually found the ice machine and water which was directly around the corner. Wow a whole 10 steps thanks for nothing.

My infant daughter recently had a minor surgery and we were on the pediatric floor for several days. With each passing day, I was more impressed with the staff. That's what stood out to my family and I the most. They were so incredibly attentive, kind and prompt. Even the charge nurse was refilling my water and taking out the trash. I was also offered complimentary parent meals during our stay, so I didn't have to leave my daughter. Huge blessing! This hospital may not have the fancy updates that many others do, but in my opinion, the staff being as wonderful as they were, made our visit much more pleasant than I expected a hospital stay to be.
