My wife surprised me with a reservation and night out. What a treat! We arrived a bit after they opened with a reservation. A bit hesitant to order the fixed menu, we decided to order some plates and just share. Everything was spot on. Brussel sprouts were amazing, and a great start. The gnocchi with crab was amazing, so rich and decadent. Bacon risotto which was my favorite was also so perfectly pleasing. The chicken wings were great, perfectly done wings and the whipped blue cheese was intense. The desert was like everything before it, perfectly orchestrated. Cant wait to come again! This was my favorite dining experience I have had in Columbus area.
UPDATE. We have been back a couple more times. Each time more memorable and special than the last. We just enjoyed the Speck preview menu. This will need the Rustic Italian theme to replace Veritas once relocated in Columbus. It was amazing.
Amazing mealif you don't like it then you just don't get it
Love this restaurant! Tristan & Ryan are the best! Sad that they're leaving downtown Delaware, but look forward to checking out their new place in Cbus.
Come hungry, leave hungryand broke.
The drink that the bartender recommended was terrible and if you want to order 18$ worth of food for three bites, then you found the right place. Surrounded by stick up the butt, late to middle aged couples, it was a very surreal experience. Bring your wallet and prepare to feel uncomfortable. And good luck.
Fantastic meal. Highly recommended. Smart menu and careful attention to balance and detail.
Went to this restaurant for a special occasion. Waiter told us that it wasn't a fancy restaurant but it costs $75 per person. We were very dressed up so it made me feel out of place. At the end of dinner I asked for a drink. Waiter told us that each table is only allowed 2 hours and 15 minutes and I'd have to go stand in the corner at the bar if I wanted one. Can't believe this place puts their own needs over a customers. I will not be going back. We were hungry an hour after we left too. Too much money. Not enough food. Bad experience.
Great place to explore different flavors, and unusual dishes. The handmade sodas there are delicious, as well.
Very dissapointing. We tried the tasting menu that was no more than average, no great flavors at all. Its prices are similar to restaurants in Chicago, San Francisco or abroad offering creative and innovative dishes. Verita's Tavern definitely falls way behind.
This is the best restaurant in the Central Ohio area. It is pricey but if you want top noch food this is the place to go.I will definitely be back
The best. The best food. The best drinks, both adult and non. Every member of the staff knows each dish and drink immediately.
