The construction is finally about 95% done, so don't expect to be woken up by a jackhammer on your next day. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a decent breakfast selection. Although mostly considered a business hotel in my opinion, also family friendly with a indoor and outdoor pool as well as lots of outdoor seating. The 24 hour marketplace is also well-stocked and should meet your needs.

Great location. Check in was a breeze. Came here with my wife on a business visit at University of Dayton, loved the space and the quality of the furniture. Recommend this if you are visiting Wright State hospital or University on official business. Also provides a free shuttle to downtown.

Great hotel. Clean. Updated and good location. Would have given it a 5 star if the price wasn't so high. Not a good value at that price and no free breakfast. Weird thing about the room doors. They only open just past half way and stop. They do not open all the way due to a installed 8" door stop on the back of the door at the top. Hard to get your luggage in to the room when the door only opens half way! If I had a screw driver, I would have removed that worthless and poorly installed door stop.

Nice rooms that have recently been renovated. Nice courtyard outside area for gathering. Checked in at 4pm and had to wait 30 minutes for a room. Breakfast was on the high side at $14.95 for the buffet for adults.

Great staff. Fantastic place to have a large group. That have the room and the support staff to handle it. Close enough to the highway for convenience but far enough away to be quiet.

The location was great. Right next to the river and very close to downtown. I didn't stay in a room, but the front end was very impressive. The ballroom was beautiful

The rooms are stellar. Zero complaints for the hotel itself. However, the type of people who seem to stay here are the entitled people who think they are better than others. They are loud, obnoxious, and downright rude. If you want a quiet restful sleep you're probably better off going to the Truckstop down the street and sleeping in your vehicle. Hotel staff will not make anyone quiet down, because it's more about the Benjamin's.

The romance package was great. Once my wife and I got into our room, it wasn't 5-10 min that the staff delivered champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. Perfect timing. The room was near spotless and looked just as I had expected for a 4 star hotel. The romance package also allowed us to check out around 3 pm rather than 11 or 12. The late check out time was just what we needed. Lunch at their on site restaurant was rather delicious as well. All around we had a very pleasant stay.

We visited with a corporate trainer and have the opportunity to have several workshops within a 4-Hour time at the hotels conference room. It was very clean it had all the amenities coffee tea water and provided us with the adequate technology to run PowerPoint presentations with ease. We were able to find it easy and the bathroom locations were also very accessible.

Everything at the hotel was great. King rooms are a little small, but not enough to warrant less stars. I did try to exit the building through the pool (which was unlocked) at night. The door locked behind me and the gates to around the outdoor section of the pool were locked. I would have been stuck out there all night if one of the gates hadn't been not closed all the way.

The Marriott at the University of Dayton is wonderful! The hotel is currently being remodeled (4/30/2016), but it's not much inconvenience and the results are amazing. I've stayed here before the remodel and now again in a remodeled room. The improvements are unbelievable. Truly top notch amenities and wonderful atmosphere, well worth a stay if you have anything going on near UD or downtown Dayton.

The remodeled rooms are comfortably and attractively updated. There was still a lot of construction going on when I was there, and while there was a little bit of a mess in the lobby I was never bothered by sound while I was there. All in all a very relaxing experience, I'd love to see it again when it's finished!
