I was in town visiting friends and family and met up at Village Wine. We originally went to Harvest Moon, but after waiting 15 minutes for a glasses of water, we left. The food at Village Wine was very, very good although the service needs work. I also took home two bottles of California wine!
Their service is usually spot on, but their specials run out way too early in the evening.
They need to keep a few of the favorites in the menu on a seasonal basis. To be very very specifically speaking, GREEN CHILE & CHORIZO MAC & CHEESE needs to be a staple of the fall and winter menu. Just sayin.
Great service, great drinks, great food. Patio dining at it's best! Update: 9/5/17: Went back for dinner to try something new. My husband and I agree that it is the best hamburger we have ever eaten. The fresh heirloom tomato straight from the garden is what puts that sandwich over the top. Instead of steak fries we had roasted carrots as the side. They were delicious. We were also very happy with new bartenders.
We really enjoyed our meal at Village Wines. The food was good, and the service was too. My only complaint is that it was a little overpriced.
New owner, new look! The improvements are looking greatgiving the main dining room a fresh and updated look (love the exposed brick and the opaque window above the kitchen). Try the salted caramel cheesecake. Delish! On a personal note, Tyler is an awesome manager.
Amazing is all I have to say.. I don't want to tell everyone about it so we can keep it for ourselves. :)
New owner Rex Weiser is doing a fabulous job creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is excellent top notch quality and Rex has a very very skilled mindset when preparing and presenting his food!! Recommend you give it a try.
Awesome and fantastic place to eat. The new management has done a great job of bringing a little new to the menu. Outstanding setting and employees.
Oh my goodness! Rob and I had dinner at the Wine Bistro Saturday night and we had a blast! The burgers were delicious and grilled to perfection, the drinks were yummy and there were friendly people everywhere. What a wonderful place to go on a cold winter evening!
