It took over 3 weeks to get the bed I ordered then when it did come it was all banged up. We had to send it back.
No one offered any help. I was in the store 30 min without any CSR asking if I needed help.
Closing store sale. They basically sold broken and nasty furniture. Was Harrased the entire time i was in there trying to get me to buy. Never again
Been waiting since August 31 for the parts for my recliner that we are unable to plug in and use. Today is October 16th. Don't understand why this is taking so long for a part. Purchased this chair from the Morse rd location in Columbus oh.
Horrible service and delivery etc. Found out they are closing and I see why.
The people worked with us were great and very helpful. We had a great experience.
Much larger than the Polaris store. I was sent here from there because they had a much better selection. This store is definitely dated and doesn't look as nice as Polaris but it had what I was looking for. The sales person was nice but did the typical creep around and spy on you that you usually get in furniture stores.
Now the gentleman who sold me 2 couches was very nice. I wanted one couch to be delivered on May 13th and I received it. The other couch was to be delivered May 20th and why they brought it out on May 13th I don't know but I was not prepared to have it delivered this day. So they took it back and assured me it would be delivered May 20th. They also were going to have to come out and repair my red couch dust cover. May 20th comes I got someone to move out my old couch but Value City did not deliver my gray couch. At first they tried to say it was my fault. Then they said I had it scheduled for a May 24th delivery. Then they said it is on back order. Of course I was upset. I explained to them I get off work at 6pm and they said they do not have delivery after 6 pm. Exactly that is why I chose Saturday. I called back to the store and spoke to America and she confirmed with me that there were plenty of the gray couch available. At first She sseemed to understand my complaint a d asked me to hold while she called corporate since this was an escalated call. She left me on hold for 20 minutes then another person by the name of Raven came on and u had to start all over explaining why I was upset. She hem hauled around then finally said "they dropped the ball and when the gray couch was returned they forgot to reschedule my delivery of the gray couch for May 20th." But still this is not my fault. I still don't have my couch. I called back to the store and I let America know I did not appreciate her not coming back to the phone after 20 minutes hold time. She raised her voice and this made me raise my voice. No body gets it! And they refused to make it right because their trucks were already out. And after 1 hour of getting nowhere and right from the beginning I asked to speak to the sre Manager and still didn't get to speak to him after America put me on hold for 20 more minutes. I let her know " I didn't appreciate her putting me on hold for 20 damn minutes " and she said "don't cuss at me" and put me in hold again. Josh Cox was the manager on duty this day and wjen he came in he emphatically said i had a choice of getting my money back or delivery of the couch on May 22 nd or the 27th. Josh never apologized just took America 's lieing word and refused to give me the best customer service. Josh was in my college classes so it is not like I was a stranger to him. I have made all of my furniture purchases from Value City. I keep going back because th one salesperson, Al is very nice, thorough and makes sure i get my things delivered. Niw I see why my daughter refised to purchase items for her home and went to Sawmill road store. She didn't want to be bothered with Ghetto treatment not from but frim America. Go figure. I am trying to get in touch with the owner Jay Schottenstein si i can let him know of this poor customer service i received. America at Morse Rd needs to be fired. This is not the first time I suggested this.
You guys are to much.. I would rate u guys -5.. you guys are big company and store, but can't manage to keep ur stuff..
It was my first time in the new value city at Easton as they just opened just last Thursday. Anthony The manager was super helpful. Terrybwasbthe sales person and she was al helpful! I enjoyed the experience and will recommend this store!!
UPDATE 1/9/2017 - Received call from Bonnie from Morse Road Value City wanting to make things right. With her diligence and professionalism this issue is resolved and a new kitchen table top will be delivered to my home in 2 days. I thank Value City for taking time to read these comments and sincerely wanting to help and resolve issues. I WILL buy from this store again!! ****BEWARE, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, THEY ARE RIDICULOUS AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYTHING REPLACED. I purchased over $4000 worth of furniture from the Morse Road store in Columbus, Ohio, and paid $400 for extended warranty. The place you deal with to get something repaired/replaced is ridiculous and they keep telling me "we have a process in place on how we repair vs replace the furniture ". I am on my second service call, on the same piece of furniture, in attempts to get something repaired to look professional and elegant, as the day I bought it (which was only 8 months ago). This is a waste of my busy time to have to wait at home for a 4 hour window in attempts to put another bandaid on the furniture piece. I also have to wait to schedule as the technician, who was here 3 days ago, has not submitted his report, really?? I also failed to mention this toll free number we call to schedule are the rudest individuals, talk down to you.
Not very happy with Value City, they are making money with the extended warranties purchased from consumers
Value is the best Word to describe your money good prices daily
