What is there to say it's Vail! Does everything from novice riders trails to more experienced riders. It does get packed during season but its a very bug Mountain. You will find space. Definitely take lessons if you're not experienced or never have been snowboarding or skiing before I recommend it

Vail had convenient public parking which is a short walk to Vail Village. Parking over 3 hrs and up to 12 hrs is $30. The ski rental shop closest to the base gondola has friendly and very helpful employees. They made sure my equipment fit properly and wore masks. The lift operation was very efficient making for a delightful skiing experience.

This is a very fun place to hang out with family. They offer ski lessons that can help you enjoy skiing more. The rental gears are in excellent condition and the staff there are very generous and helpful. The skiing courses are very fun to do. I would recommend to everyone. Just overcome your fear of height Thank you!

    Review the Cancellation Policy carefully!
Buyer beware: Due to COVID concerns our family gathering was cancelled, because one daughter is pregnant and my wife & I are 68-year-old seniors. My other daughter requested a refund, but is getting the absolutely royal run-around.
    Good luck, stay healthy.

I skied Vail with my brother and it was a fantastic experience! He was an excellent skier (I’m intermediate). He skied all of the back bowls, while I skied the crest of the mountain. I saw a man with one leg swoosh down the mountain in no time! It was a great day, but the slopes at Vail are steep, and I felt like I was going to roll down the mountain and land on the village below! SO I hitched a ride on the back of the ski patrol’s snow mobile and enjoyed a hot toddy in front of the fireplace at the lodge!😁

Worst ski resort experience in my entire life. I got to Wilmot Mountain ski resort yesterday for my first day of skiing this year with my epic Pass. They were closing early because of the holidays. I drove an hour and a half just to get there when they were closing. The parking lot was terrible.. I slipped and fell OUCH. Now I can't ski. It hurts. Then when I was leaving one of the employees was taking garbage to the dumpsters with the company pickup truck and was doing donuts in the parking lot. The only redeeming quality was that there were two people that offered to help me after I slipped on ice and went down.

Not many runs open yet (and they get I y quickly, which makes the small amount of runs busy. However, still so much fun, and such a beautiful place.

Snow is coming this week though Right when we leave ☹️

Absolutely awesome experience in the summer. We took the scenic gondola several times and unlike many resorts if you just want to stay on they let you. No un-boarding and re-boarding. The views and hiking trails are amazing and lined with some pretty cool information signs too. Great for tourists, locals and families. Next time I will definitely have to whip out my mountain bike.

Would have giving this place 5 stars but it's a hit or miss mountain.
If it didn't dump the night before (or at very least 2 nights before) go else where. The back bowls are amazing! When there is fresh POW! but that's about it.
The Town is pretty awesome but pricey. Vail's town has a bunch of fine dinning, really nice restaurants and boutiques. Breck's town has more night life and is less expensive.

Big! Vail is a large resort with tons of options. I will not discredit it's size or variety. It is, however, very expensive and their online ticket sales are a joke. Everything in and near Vail is very expensivemuch better resorts for your $ close by. At Vail you're paying for the brand and prestige factor..so if that's important to you this is your place for sure! Otherwise I'd ride it once to check the box and leave a review and then move on.

Amazing place. It just seemed like endless boarding with fantastic, empty runs. Ton of fun boarding through the trees, and back bowls of the resort. Great location for lunch at the summit, though as expected, can be pricey.

The village is also very cool. Tons of awesome stores and restaurants and a quaint appearance to everything. parking was extremely easy with underground garages being very convenient.

Can't wait to go back later this year.

Best skiing I've ever had. Great long slopes, and no shortage of new routes to explore. Would return in a heartbeat given the chance. Lodging on mountain is crazy expensive, but it's close enough to other resorts that one can travel if they rented a car.

OK, it's very pricey. God, a 3 hrs lesson costs 750$.

After having said that, I can honestly say it is worth it. The whole resort is amazing, and amazingly diversified. I have been skiing for about 45 years and this is the best all around ski resort I have skied. Including the ones I've been at in Europe, Canada and the others in the US.

    Recommended.

Best amenities of all the ski resorts I've been to here in CO (Keystone, A-Basin), but you definitely pay for it. The gondola with heated seats is great but I don't want to pay so much for parking when I'm also paying for lift tickets. That said, it's a great ski resort with tons of lifts and runs of a wide variety of difficulty, where I (a beginner intermediate skier) and my black diamond-loving friend and intermediate beginner friend could all find things to fit our levels.

Awesome place for any level skier or snowboarder. Great choice for groups with mixed levels as far as ability since the mountain really has runs for everyone. The transportation is great and the villages are fun. The heated streets/sidewalks mean even on powder days you can stroll around comfortably. I love Vail!

As an amateur snowboarder, I found this place perfect. The slopes are welcoming enough to help new learners get used to boarding while still challenging intermediate and advanced boarders on other courses. Also, the equipment is top notch, and the staff is amazing! They're friendly, approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable of the slopes.
All around great place to be for skiers and snowboarders.

One of my favorite ski resorts. Way too expensive to go for a simple guys trip but this is the kind of place where you take your family too. Playgrounds all over for kids. Lots of flat learning spots. Fast gondolas and lifts. Great food. Only downside is that it's extremely expensive to stay on site and lift tickets have skyrocketed. The grooming here is awesome. They also groom mid-day and not just overnight.
