We actually tried to book at Cascade right on the river only to keep turning up results for "Talisa" the new name which is still going through major renovations so we booked last minute at the Coldstream condos. We honestly couldn't be happier. It was perfect for 2 people and possibly more. We were such close proximity to the biking trails with minutes access to Lionshead and the rest of Vail village. You. Must. Bring. Your. Bikes. So worth it. We stayed in a condo that backed up to the pool and hot tub, and just behind that was rushing Gore Creek - and we had the whole damn thing to ourselves every night in summer!!! Amazing. We saw a hummingbird hovering above the water on our last day/morning coffee. The condo had a very nice full kitchen and housekeeping was on point here and replaced our coffee bag supply. We will come back next year thank you!!!
Note: sometimes we noticed the traffic from i70 here in rush hours Only. But with the rushing creek noise it really kinda drowns that out. You don't hear it inside though. And you can't see it at least we didn't in summer. See my pics. Only thing that didn't save was a view of the mountain from here.

    About Vail Cascade Condo:
It used to be a nice place to stay but it is awful. Service is not good either.
    We will not go back

The hotel is amazing and very big. The staff has helped us with our many questions. The rooms are a perfect size for us. The only thing is the hotel can be a bit confusing.

Great location. The hotel itself is much like a maze, it's pretty easy to get lost. Rooms are very spacious and of high quality.

    Customer service was top notch.
Around the hotel there aren't a lot of options for entertainment other than skiing, but they do take you on a shuttle for free to Vail Village and Lionshead Village. The spa was remarkable. I recommend the Swedish Massage, Coconut Coffee Body Exfoliation, and Alpine Facial. I had a 30% off coupon and tipped 20%. The total was $389. Their spa waiting room was top notch.

We have seen better hotel rooms and worse hotel rooms. They have some upgrades that could be made, but they have already done a lot of upgrades. We purchased our trip on Hotwire. They have a resort fee and parking is $18.

I've stayed at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa on a few occasions during off season, and have always had clean rooms, great service, and awesome prices considering the accommodations.

It's also worth mentioning that the Aria Resort & Spa (access included) is one of the better options in the Vail Valley.

For winter visitors, access to the Cascade Chairlift is just a short walk away, and you can ski/ride back to the base at the end of the day.
