This post office, which once supported 16,000 workers, is now the office of less than 200 people. The building is filled with abandoned rooms and offices!

This station's namesake, Postmaster & politician James A. Farley, received The Hundred Year Association's 1962 Gold Medal Award "in recognition of outstanding contributions to the City of New York."

Turn this place into a train station already! There would be much better service.

Robert Sullivan witnessed “the end of the era of the twenty-nine-cent stamp” at a midnight party here in 1991.

Grab a (non-alcoholic) drink, sit on the steps and just chill. Also a nice place for stamps.
