Ordered a blackened grilled chicken sandwich not on the menu but they took my order and gave me exactly what I wanted. Good food, basic drinks. Came here earlier in the day and bartender didn't know what sangria was or a green tea shot was but could whip up a good margarita.

I eat mainly paleo/primal because of food allergies. This place was very helpful in disclosing food ingredients especially the dressing as I have issues with added food starch and soy. Chicken & pear salad for me. The champagne vinigarette was super yummy and paired well with the salad. Very kid friendly! Be sure to check out the toy bin with books and toys in the back if you bring your littles. I would definitely return for another visit.

This is a great restaurant and tavern.. The food was better than perfect if one could imaging that. Been there a number of times and each menu selection was the best and with quality taste and presentation. We often visit Gaylord and will return to Alpine Tavern at our next visit without question.

Just taking a drive and picked Alpine Tavern for dinner. We had the Smothered Brisket with sweet potato fries and Cole slaw. First time there. Was not disappointed at all. Food, atmosphere, and service was excellent!

The food is good. The staff is super nice. The beer selection is GREAT! The atmosphere is wide open and spacious. All in all a good place for lunch.

Our server Miles was on top of his game, and he was friendly. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was only okay. There was a mix of fresh and frozen food. The fresh food was excellent, and well done, such as the teriyaki beef tenderloin tips appetizer, but the frozen food was bland and there was nothing special about it. The one thing we saw people get was the pizza, and it looked delicious. We will come back to try the pizza.

Awesome play area outside for kids to play while the adults watch and eat. It good food too. We've had many visits here and each time it's better.

Fun sporty bar in downtown Gaylord. Wide beer selection with some local breweries. Outdoor area with some games and actives for customers. Great spot to meet up with friends or family for lunch or dinner.

Besides having to accept a new server to help us (some young kid didn't listen well and became a smartass) the rest of our experience was excellent. We had 14 people in our group and Marlene saved the day. Top quality service, zero mistakes on quite a variety of food, and excellent chow made this experience one to recommend. A little pricey, but worthwhile for sure!

Love their food! Cuban sandwich is amazing :) Great atmosphere and place to hang out. Always different sporting events on the TV's. Good selection of draft beer.
