  What can I say. The owner Rick is one of the nicest down to earth guys in the world. During lunch he chatted with me and my friend the whole time. We also had a to stop playing because of rain. He took care of us for the rain.
  The course is nice rolling hills, green are a challenge which is part of the game. Causal atmosphere is nice.

  I liked the course. We had a voucher for unlimited golf and lunch. They came through! The bunkers could use more sand, but I should have been focused on fairways. Hats off to them.

  This is a fun course to play with a group. We played with 2 groups of 3 in a scramble format. It was a lot of fun. There are a lot of blind tee shots so unless you have played the course before and can really do course management it really makes the course difficult.

  Played black bear yesterday. Greens were in fine shape. Loved the course routing. Has some really nteresting holes. Bunkers need some work. Overall a nice experience.

  The course layout is excellent and it's a challenging course. The staff is very friendly, however the the maintenance of the course needs to improve badly.

  couldn't of been more happy with my golf experience at Black Bear!!! myself and my buddies golfed Black Bear last year for the 1st time and we golfed 72 holes! loved it and that's why we r back this weekend for 72 more holes!!! staff was awsome!!! very kind and helpful!! can't wait to get my round started this morning!!!

  Absolutely fantastic staff that were friendly and helpful. Great clubhouse with great food. The course has a great layout but the tee boxes and fairways could use some work. The green were good and ran true. Overall a great experience at the black bear.

  A really nice, well maintained golf course. Worth the drive from Canada once or twice a season. There are a lot of choices for great golf in the Gaylord area. I always come back here because you can't beat the price and it's always been a good time.
