We were recommended this restaurant While we're staying on her honeymoon at the Inn at Bay Harbor. All I can say is. You havent lived until you've Tried the rolls. HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! Everything we tried on the menu was EXCEPTIONAL especially the steak & the Wine list was very extensive.

The views as you come around the corner and approach the property are stunning. And the staff upon arrival were top-notch. That was my first indication that this would be a great stay, my first ever at the Inn. Check-in was a breeze. And in no time I was walking in my beautiful room which was appointed with beautiful and thoughtful amenities. I especially liked the area in the room where the refrigerator was located, complete with the coffee maker and a sink. Having it away from the television cabinet and away from the bathroom made for ease of movement through the room. The bed was super comfy. My room was on the waterfront and the sound of the water coming ashore in the heavy winds was heavenly. Especially at night.

I had booked my reservation on line, where I encountered a new kind of reservation process. Specifically, I was able to specify a location in the Inn (not too far of a walk from the main lobby or elevator), and ask for additional pillows (I just checked the box) and specify any special requirements. Sure enough, when I checked in I walked a short distance around the corner of the lobby to my room (check), opened the door to my room and found the extra pillows already inside waiting for me (check). So people really do read the additional requirements made online. Even at some of the finest hotels in the world you have to ask for room location at time of check in, same for the extra pillows. Not here--it was all taken care of before I even arrived. Not THAT is service.

I really enjoyed the outdoor full size checkers/chess game. We had a blast moving around the pieces with our feet. What a hoot that was. While it was too cool for a swim in the pool, the pool area looked beautiful. I can imagine how lovely it must be swimming in warmer weather.

Finally, the concierge service was outstanding. We received several in-town recommendations for dinner (having wanted to dine in town) and the one we selected was fantastic. In addition, when I went down the stairs to discuss dinner options with him, he was on the phone servicing a caller who was calling to learn more about the Inn, services, and Michigan travel. His level of service was impeccable. Top flight.
All in all one of the nicest experiences I've had, ever, any where in the world. I highly recommend a stay at the beautiful Inn at Bay Harbor.

Vacation time is to important to go the cheap route. This place is world class. We have stayed at many of the nicest hotels around the country, and the Inn is our favorite. We have been their a dozen times and service has been excellent everytime. Ski, Beach, or color tour, dont miss out.
