Be aware that at Geneva Hospital your insurance copay is in addition to, not instead of, you normal bill. When I took my wife to the emergency room, the doctor spent all of 30 seconds with us then sent us a $250 bill that our insurance (United Health Care) didn't cover. If you have the option, go somewhere else.
I have lived in Geneva over 50 years, and while I have had a couple of positive experiences here, for the most part my experiences here have been very poor. My family and I go to the Lake Health Tri-Point hospital or to a Cleveland medical facility for medical treatment.
ER doctors wouldn't take the time and energy to investigate my problem. Only wanted to issue pain killers without knowing the issue and that won't solve the problem. Then, wouldn't accept payment at time of service for "cash customer" with money on hand. Only offered to bill me, then didn't and sent it directly to collections within just a couple months. Terrible service all around.
UH HOSPITALS are very good for health care.
Horrible..I entered the facility and there was no presence of staff very unprofessional with providing privacy And quality care.. I should have drove to concord instead.
