The guys here strive to provide excellent customer service. Have gone to them for a couple years now and trust them to be honest and straightforward with me about my vehicle.

Store owner chewed me out for asking a free employee for help which the owner considered interrupting a conversation he was having with a gentleman in line. I paid $100 for a uhaul rental and got chewed out for returning the key. All the associates are awesome - nothing but honest work and help from them. The owner, Sean, is a jerk. I just asked if I needed to sign anything when I was dropping off a uhaul key. All that was necessary was "No sir you are good to leave" but instead the owner took it upon himself to lecture me about manners when in reality he was the rude one as I just spent good money there. Will not recommend - go to the WalMart auto center next door - or really any other establishment.

Great mechanic. I had an air leak that a garage in blacksburg could not seem to find. He found it in 30 seconds and took care of the problem. Very nice guy and kept me in the loop during the entire repair process. I wish I could afford to use him for all of my mechanical needs as he seems to really know cars.(mine is a German import). Again many thanks to him.

Took truck for a simple tire change and alignment, $454 quote. I was charged more than $100 more for the quoted service. They found two additional issues and charged an extra $1,000, on what probably cost $250 in parts, and two hours to fix. The mechanic even called me, and I diagnosed my own problem, still charged me $80 to diagnose. Said an Air bag light was on, and it wasn't when I took it over, then he said it was cutting out too and it wasn't when I took it over there. While fixing the air bag clock spring United Muffler broke something and had to tow it to a dealership. What was supposed to be a one day job turned into 5 days without my truck. Shady Sean called on day two asking to be paid. I had multiple local friends tell me not to go there. Sean appears to be a nice guy, and it costs a lot to run a shop. I understand. But wooosh thats the sound of my $1,000 leaving on $250 in parts and 2 hours of labor. Fool me once shame on me. Never ever, ever never, never ever again. Sean will never touch my vehicle again. Run, stay away. All these negative reviews are truthful. You'd be wise to stay away from United Muffler Autocare in Fairlawn. Sean will break your vehicle then send it to a dealership when he can't fix it while taking your wallet for a ride.

I LOVED these people. I went there a few weeks ago to get my car inspected and the people were all as nice as could be. I am a little blonde college girl who would appear to have little knowledge about cars (and I truly do not know much besides the very basics). He brought me and my boyfriend back to the shop to show me exactly what was wrong (he brought us both so that I would know I was not getting ripped off). Very trustworthy, especially for someone like me who could very easily get manipulated.

Sean charged me $144 for an oil change after quoting $69.95. When I disputed the charges, I was told my car had lots of plastic pieces that needed taken off. I feel taken advantage of. I had read bad reviews about your business and decided to give you a chance.
Sean - I am giving you the opportunity to repair this and refund me $75. I hope you remedy this miscommunication.response / report this review -

Will never take a vehicle there again. Charged for things that had nothing to do with state inspection. If you want to be ripped off this is the perfect place to go. Don't get fooled by the religious talk or by the bibles in the lobby.
