Food was really good with huge portion. We had crispy noodle and sea food cho fun, and both were really tasty, specially crispy noodles were good. Crispy friend noodles, with gravy on top melts the noodles soft. This was a really good experience and will go here again.

Btw this restaurant is decorated well, with traditional pots and other items.

Really good food but service was horrible. Food hands down was awesome but the place lacks service skills. We waited at least 30 minutes before someone came to our table. And was very friendly but I will go back for the food. We had a array of food and all of it was really good.

Very good authentic food. The chicken sate with peanut sauce is great. The roti was delicious. The service was very good too. Definitely will visit again.

So good wah! Die die must try! Very authentic flavour. They don’t dumb it down for American palate. This is the real thing. Strongly recommend.

Our favorites included the oyster omelette, soft shell crab and Malay style fried rice. We also love their lo mein, there is something about it that is unique and not a typical Chinese style. The beef and sauce in it is sooo delicious. We try to come at least once a month to support the restaurant and also because everything is absolutely delicious and unique yet familiar to us. My children also love everything. Oh and their smoothies are fantastic. Better than stand alone smoothie shops.

Very delicious food. Has a large variety of dishes. The ambience is also very pleasent. It is very pricy, this is why it gains 4 instead of 5 stars.

Really great food. We had the seafood clay pot and sweet and sour shrimp and both were delicious. The seafood was well prepared--the shrimp were nice and juicy. Great prices, good service.

The food is great. I like their ambient music that plays. If you coming here guys, try their "Mango Sticky Rice". Very very tasty.

    A real hidden gem!
Menu consists of a fair amount of variety of Malaysian dishes all with distinct flavours.
Highly recommend getting the Malaysian White coffee for those coffee lovers; my all-time favourite coffee so far!
I would hate for this place to disappear, so more people should try this place out.

Really appreciated this place. It is not located a mall and the exterior is well cared. The interior has an atmosphere and spotless. The food is perfect, the gado gado was excellent, items include classic Chinese for those that do like the spice. Great service! So good worth a trip if you're not from the area. Very few actual Malay restaurants in Chicagoland.

Simply amazing pretty much sums up what Penang restaurant is. Every dish is on point from appetizers to their main dish and even dessert. My favorite dish has to be the Duck! If you're looking to bring the family or a date out and want to impress them with authentic Malaysian food then Penang is the place!

I've been going to Penang since they had the Chinatown location. I'm glad they re-open even if it's a bit farther.

Since I don't come here as offer, it's usually the Hainanese Chicken and rice for me.

The service is good. The restaurant is seldom crowded, so I hope they last.
