  Look I've been to multiple sites now where there's sometimes as few as no other people in the waiting room to be told that there's about a 1.5 hour or more wait time since there is only one provider on staff. This is at multiple locations. One . Single . Provider .
  
  Close half your locations and you can at least double your quick care provider staff, and have less real estate overhead. Then it might be quick care and not feel like the free clinic in downtown Chicago for wait time.
  
  Seriously. Since moving to the mighty Iowa city area, one thing certainly lacks, --- quality, available, healthcare.

  Not that I like Illinois but I waited longer to deal with my condition at a random dupage medical group immediate care facility. Was professionally greeted, updated my info in a timely manner, and a 20 minute wait when there were several people ahead of me.
  
  Exact opposite experience of the UI QuickCare system.

  Sad to see all these bad reviews, here's a good one to weigh it out! These guys have always been helpful---wait time is to be expected, but they'll help you out and won't dismiss your symptoms. Staff are almost always concerned and helpful, this place has been a go-to every time I want something checked immediately. They answer questions well, too.

  Solid experience learning more about the clinic from the front desk receptionist. *this review is comparing this clinic to other urgent care clinics - e.g. wait times, clinician service, admin service.
  
  Says that wait times can be up to 3 hours long - so call in advance.
  
  Early morning is easier to get into - since same day visits fill up by the afternoon oftentimes.
  
  Clean interior. Can be hard to see from the outside - since their windows are frosted.

  I went to quick care because I was having extreme pain swallowing, and it's a problem I've had before. However, I normally see my family physician in Louisiana. I got to the quick care, and after the nurse took my vitals and took a strep test, the came in. She listened to my lungs without discussing any other problems it could be other than strep. The physician also neglected to ask how I was feeling or even engage in conversation. She did not ask how my throats felt or anything. After checking my breathing and pulse she left. Upon coming back, she said," the strep test was negative, take Tylenol and ibuprofen." This was weird to me because my primary care physician had given an antibiotic for the problem previously or even correctly diagnosed it. Once I began to tell her I took Advil today and the yesterday. She said( very rudely), "I asked you what medicines you took and you said none." When in actuality, she asked if I was taking any PRESCRIBED medications. I then began to tell her how I felt and what I thought I had. Explaining that I felt like my throats was closing and looking in the mirror, it was clearly red. She then said," your throats is open, i looked at it, " and ," your throats doesn't look that red." I'm not sure what "that red" meant, but I don't feel like I was properly treated. I also said my younger looks white and she said ," it doesn't look that white to me." Again, I'm not sure what"that white" means, but the whole situation was very disheartening. I feel like the physician was incompetent, and I did not get cared for, since this is something I've had before, I know what it's like, and she did not treat me well.

  The doctor was very careless, she stared at the screen and didn't listen to what I was explaining, misdiagnosed me with bronchitis when I was having an asthma attack. She then was out the door before I was for her lunch break.

  I went there for the rash. It was spreading pretty quick and was itching pretty bad at work. So I left early from work to go get the medications to get this rash away. I had few bug bites from vacation as well.. This Nurse Practitioner came in like 45 mins after I got vitals from the RN. Taking care of others who came after me. and all she did was looking at my arms rash spots and bug bites (were only on right arm) and told me it was bed bugs and other places in the body got infected from it. told me to put hydrocoritisone on the spots and take some meds that was for infection. I came home after classes and started to clean my mattress really hard and washed all my clothes and sheets, but the rash spreads out even more, all over my back, neck and arms. slowly going to legs. My dad sent the picture of it to the doctor he knew and he said it was allergic reaction from what I ate. told me to take benadryl and rash was calming down finally. paid $35 for copay because I was very concerned and it didn't help at all. I am not going here again. Worthless.

  Nurse Practitioner did not even perform a physical exam nor did she give me a proper diagnosis or treatment plan. Waste of time and a copay.

  I have been here several times over the past year and a half and have found it very helpful. I have usually only had to wait a half an hour at most to be seen. I went there for a suspected UTI and/or yeast infection and was prescribed antibiotics that helped right away. I have also been there for can-barely-sit-comfortably lower back pain and was prescribed a pain medication. I went there on a Sunday morning for chest pain that had kept me up all night and was sent to the ER for further testing. The staff has always been polite and helpful. The location is very convenient. I give 4 stars because I would not recommend Quick Care to someone with a difficult to diagnose problem. If you suspect you have the flu, strep, UTI, etc. and know what it feels like and want to be prescribed medication for it, this is the place to go.

  Everyone was very polite and tried to be helpful during my visit, but they still misdiagnosed me with pinkeye when I actually had a badly scratched cornea. The staff is not really equipped to handle very many medical issues, which makes the point of the facility a little unclear. Their misdiagnosis wasn't the nurse's fault, but it still cost me $40 and may result in further complications because I wasn't treated correctly. I don't recommend this place for anything more complicated than a cold.
