  Don't believe the other reviews this place is just as good as any other uhaul. The manager that was a jerk got fired. The new guy is a little rude but he did hook my car up on the trailer for me so I gave them a good review

  Horrible service got charged for my rental again a month after and when i tried to talk the manager her wouldnt even take a minute to speak with this was definitely my first and last time using this placr

  Horrible service, they wasted 45min of my time while probing there test light in the truck trailer connection to try tell me my lights don’t work before I could rent there trailer. Manager argued my lights don’t work when it’s the manager himself who doesn’t know how to test a 12v system on a vehicle. This was also a brand new truck he was testing smh, needless to say I drove to another Uhual location 10min away and everything went smooth hooked up to the trailer I rented guess what the lights work!!!!stay away from this store.

  I called to rent a trailer, told them what kind of car I have, they asked me what kind of tow hitch and I told them what I wanted to tow. Then they "supposedly" checked to make sure my car had adequate towing capacity and then reserved one for me. When I got there, we went through the process of testing the trailer electrical connections, etc before they finally told me that my car is not adequate to tow the loaded trailer. The manager was rude and abrupt; he could have at least been apologetic that they wasted so much of my time. Then they kept calling and emailing asking if I was going to pick up the trailer. I emailed back that they refused to rent it to me, but they kept calling. I finally called headquarters to tell them and they said, "that's weird". Okay. Rent somewhere else; these people don't have their act together.

  If at all possible, drive to a different location.
  As soon as I can empty my storage unit, I will never use this place again. Very misleading business practices.

  On 5/23/17 I called to make an appointment to pick up a 10' truck at the U-haul storage (3851 S Orlando Dr, Sanford, FL 32773). The appointment was confirmed for me to pick up a truck on 5/27/17 at 9:30 am. I was informed that a 10' was not available at that time and I would be given a 15'. When I arrived on 5/27 at 9:30 am the 15' was not available and my appointment was put in for a pick up at noon. I had people helping me so I could not move the pick up time. I was informed that I would be given a 10' truck and when I went to check out the truck the battery was dead. The folks behind the counter were working to get me another vehicle but none were available close by. They then gave me a van after a half hour of trying to sort things out. This is why you are receiving a poor review on Google and why I will not recommend U-haul to anyone else. No discount or compensation was offered for the screw-up on U-hauls behalf.

  What a joke, don't waste your time reserving anything cause they won't have it anyway, they will just cancel your reservation and send you to another location to pick up what you need

  Had a unit here 3 years, no issues A/C worked just fine Elevator made it a breeze. Felt safe at night there as well.

  I love this PLACE it was Wonderful doing business with them for the two years I lived in Sanford. My move there, my move leaving also my storage they made it easy for me. The service was awesome. The general manager was amazing, the staffs was amazing also the staffs that clean up was amazing. Definitely recommend this to friends and family. LOVE YOU GUYS 😇
