Will never use Uhaul again. Between screwing up my order originally to being extremely rude about returning some boxes, you lost my business.

I go to this location alot from work ;

Since they switched owners and managers this place has been worst, the customer service here is not good employees are always in a bad mood , i had to call customer service to complain about Mikeal Kennedy (General Manager) he has no manners towards customers. i only go there because its close to home but i been trying to go elsewhere customer service is horrible.response / report this review -

If you are okay with having employees stare at you like they haven't ever seen another human being in their lifetime, this is the place for you!. The tattooed guy just started at me as though I were performing magic by purchasing packing materials. I actually had to ask him if he were open and assisting customers because he seemed to be assigned the daunting task of holding down the counter. He didn't respond by any other means besides typing on the key board. The only time he spoke was to inform me of my total.
Really un-welcoming, especially since I had just purchased boxes at another Uhaul location where the staff were all friendly and even helped load my vehicle.
Thankfully I won't have to visit this location again.response / report this review -

Had a great experience here. Needed a tow hitched put on my truck. Computer said a universal hitch, but Jake went out of his way to find a hitch made for my truck and at a cheaper price. Saved me $100. All the guys there seem to really care about what they do and making sure everything is done safely. They were a blessing to me.

The uhaul employee who connected the trailer I rented to my vehicle did not tighten the coupler, causing the trailer to come off the ball and run into the back of my vehicle. I called them as soon as it happened, there was no apology or admission of guilt, and no acknowledgment that they put my life and the life of other drivers a risk. Not impressed

I've rented trucks from and been in this store multiple times and have always had a great experience. Staff has been friendly and helpful everytime.
They've helped me load things into my car and always make sure the truck is ready to go (warmed up and brushed on a bad winters day! )

They forgot to tell me about the extra charges for using a debit card. So it overdrafted my account. And all they said was sorry. Gosh, thanks. That should automatically be part of the quote and information when making a reservation.

Great location, friendly service. We ran out of propane in our motorhome and after the other 28th St location couldn't fill it, we drove the 6miles to the Burlingame store and they made it very easy. Store is clean and cared for, in and out in a jiffy. Thank you!
