I love taking this on the last ride of the night and watching the sunset! Gorgeous ride and lots of fun info. Visit Saugatuck every 4th of July time and still catch a ride on this beauty, just a pleasant relaxing time.

Nice little paddle boat ride. A circuit breaker blew while on the trip, so we had no narration, otherwise, it was ok. I thought they might give us a discount on another future trip because of this, but, nope..oh well..

If you want to see the best sunset on Lake Michigan you have to go on this boat ride. The best.

An hour and a half I will never get back. Upon waiting in line to board the boat the captain started screaming at everyone. I suppose there was some light chatter during his speech, however I really couldn't even hear it. I immediately thought to myself maybe this isn't a good idea. He then went to tell people if children aren't kept within arms length at all times it wasn't going to be nicely handled. Not sure if I was on a relaxing sunset cruise or in kindergarten class. Then as we were boarding someone asked him how he was doing and he replied he was better now that this was the last trip of the day. Yikes. Once we were on the boat it seemed as if they could have just had all the windows open in order for passengers on lower deck to have a better experience and not feel like you are just trapped in a room where you can't see anything . Yet I wasn't going to ask for fear I might be screamed at like a child. The sunset was beautiful and we got some pictures. My two year old behaved the entire time (thankfully) and my 8 year old was extremely bored. Not what I expecting based on reviews. I just think the staff could have been kinder, especially when you are giving someone your business I just expect people to be nice to me.

Been here august of 2016 and I love it! Went for the boat cruise 3x taking our friends and families there. Beautiful houses and gorgeous boats. You need to be early and on time so you can get a nice seat and view on the second floor, what a beautiful experience.

This is the best way to see Saugatuck. It's a great family outing and provides a lot of info. I've been going to Saugatuck for most of my life and this was the second time I went on it but I still learned a lot.

The Star of Saugatuck Boat Cruise was a beautiful way to see Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo River. The driver was informative about the sites and gave interesting information about the area and boat. The boat was smooth and you were able to sit up top to get sun and an amazing view. Well worth the money and time!!
