  I rented a van from here once and refilled my propane tank twice now. All experiences were great and the young man helping me today was super sweet and loaded my tank up for me at the end.

  The fact that there are not elevators in the indoor storage facility is ridiculous. The whole place smells like dead mice and is swelteringly hot. Two tiny dehumidifiers are not enough to do the job for the building.

  The people there are usually nice and helpful, however its more of an off site storage situation as many of the units there are small like standard closets so they are better suited for documents not furniture.

  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had originally scheduled for a self pick up because it was supposed to "cut my wait time in half" I ended leaving the lot an hour late. Got to the location, completed most of the steps needed for self pick up and was told to locate my truck, and then go inside to retrieve my key. Went inside and was told that I needed to do it on my phone I had to show them that on step 6 it asked me to come inside and get the key. The older lady "Jill I believe" said the keys are under to seat. Went back to my truck and searched all over and didn't find any keys. Found out they had me scheduled for a completely different truck. Because of this issue I spent over an hour canceling my original contract and was made a whole new contract for the wrong truck. She was rude and used choice words while dealing with me even though I kept calm and understandable about their issues. I ended up using the truck for over an hour and didn't need the full four hours and returned the truck well before the scheduled drop off time. ON TOP OF ALL THIS, I found out today that I was charged twice on my bank statement for both trucks. As if my original contract was never canceled!! I called them and they said I was only charged once. I had to call my bank and explain the situation to them and they agreed that I could not have possibly driven two different trucks at the exact same time and put in a pre-authorized release for one of the charges!!! In Indianapolis, uhaul rental stores are within miles of eachother and I STRONGLY suggest you use a different location other than this one on E. Washington st! Friends and family will never use his location I guarantee this.

  The worst experience with a Uhaul that I have ever had. I Reserved a trailer to haul my MG midget and when I arrived to pick it up she asked what I was hauling. I said a MG midget car. She then proceeded to tell me that it would not fit in the trailer. I told her that I measured and it would fit with no problem and it only weighs 1600lbs well under the 3700lbs that the trailer holds. She was rude and said it again that it would not fit and she had the right to refuse me and she did. So I went two miles up the road to another U haul and rented the same trailer and hauled my car without a hitch.

  This place sneaks up on you quickly unless you already knew where it was. Could use better signage on this busy road. Open long hours except on Sunday.
