One of the best golf resorts in Michigan. They have 5 courses and this is a great spot for a buddies trip. Rooms have been updated and although the lodging is not perfect it is still perfectly fine. I prefer the Signature Course as its the best of the bunch but make sure you play all of them as you will be glad you did. They also offer a $99 unlimited golf deal in the spring and fall and its prob the best deal in Michigan.
Excellent spot for skiing and snowboarding. The staff were extremely friendly, fellow skiers/snowboarders were very respectful, and the trails were quite diverse and fun. We would love to come back again.
Nice large rooms with spectacular views. Well cleaned and spacious. Swimming pool and a hot tub all within walking distance. The staff was attentive and polite. It was nice that the on site bar was within walking distance of my room. I only gave it 4 stars because there were never enough drinks or snacks during a conference of 130 people.
Had a great time at Treetops for my sister's wedding! The location is AMAZING!! Service was stellar. They are in the process of renovating the rooms, so there wasn't any artwork in my room which was kind of weird. But the room was very comfortable and overall I had a great time!
I went for two days, one night for golf. The courses were in real good condition, not too busy whole I was there. The rooms were in great condition. The spread for the breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic. All the staff I came across were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back again and recommend to others.
It was my first time at treetops and I was very impressed. First off, the golf was absolutely incredible. The masterpiece and premier are both challenging yet fun with some incredible scenic views. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Will definitely be returning
The golf courses are unbelievable! Played the Masterpiece and the Premier. Both were great. Enjoyed the Masterpiece a little more! Some of the nicest golf courses I have ever played! The only downside of the resort was the dining. The food wasn't good and was a long wait. Would rather go somewhere off site or bringing my own food if I did it againBut other than that it was awesome!!!
Great golf courses and lodging. Southwest chicken wraps are very tasty. Dangerous downhill slopes in the rain though, be careful in the carts, loss of traction! Management may want to get new tires for the golf carts to increase safety.
Always a good time at Treetops resort. Did you know they have State of Michigan certified day care? My daughter loves it. Its more like summer camp for kids. Always, always a terrific time at Treetops Resort. Stay at the condo's. They are real nice.
Very friendly staff. The resort is outdated, but they are in the middle of remodeling (June 2017). The social event was well catered with a nice breakfast, lunch and snacks. The bar staff (Dee) is very kind and knowledgeable. The rooms is clean but needs work.
Location and scenery are beautiful, courses are challenging but fun for most skill levels. Rooms are freshly updated and look very nice, pricing is high but if you only go once or twice a year it's a great time. Views are something you don't find many other places and the elevation changes on the course make you try shots you've probably never seen before. Try all the courses, they're all different and worth your time. I didn't think three tops looked challenging from the scorecard but once you get out there you're thrilled to walk away with a 4 on most holes better have your short game and distance control dialed in for those holes!
We had an amazing time at Treetops. Our 2 and 4 year old loved the daycare they provide during the day. And, both of them also got to ski. The manager in the rental shop helped my kids feel comfortable and confident. The sledding in the tubes was also a blast. We stayed at Garland, so can't comment on the accommodations.
