Really liked this place, reasonable price and clean rooms. I can honestly say it was definitely one of the nicer places I've stayed.

The rooms are bad, and the bathrooms are not cleaned. The guy at the front was nice, but the room is not good at all. The doors are jammed. Please do not come to this place. The non-smoking rooms smell like smoke. When I entered, I saw that the toilet was “used”. Also, the rooms are outdated. The telephone are from an old company.

If the manager invested in a real crew to help fix this place up it would be better. Room 326 has a microwave , mini fridge , coffee maker (no pot) and a safe that doesn't work.. Best thing about this room is TV AC and WiFi Bed is decent , king size. But a lot of stuff in the room is falling apart like plugs and floor. There is a huge dip by AC and the walls are dirty I mean

Pretty hard to spot from the road. Rooms are fairly outdated, but not too horrendously dirty. Did find a few small roaches and a mystery dirt smudge on my sheet, though if you're staying for a night after a long bout at Busch Gardens, it should be fine as it's only a half-mile away from the park parking. Wouldn't recommend for more than one night.

Workers are sweethearts 11/10 for them manage however -10/10 he is rude and is never at the hotel. Price is too high for rooms, for 6 people he rented us a room with two bed TWIN SIZED BEDS! We left after opening the door didn’t even use the room and he didn’t give us a refund. He told us to come the next day bc the manager wasn’t there. We did, then the manager wasn’t there but said someone else was in the room so he couldn’t give us our refund when we clearly left. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD

If i could give a zero I would The hotel was not well maintenced and positioned in a very loud area the beds were too small and we had left and asked for a refund and we only got half of the money that we had paid it was downright disgusting and even in the non-smoking areas it reaked of smoke and the rooms were very overpriced for such a crappy hotel me and my family paid $94 for only one night

If I could give zero stars I would. The non smoking reaked of smoke. The whole place look suspect. The room were down right disgusting. They look nothing like the pictures. I didn't even want to sit down or touch anything. This place should be closed down.

Now called the Tampa Inn, no sign to direct people in. Was given a vague map to my room and was accosted by a hotel guest who tried to direct me to the back of the hotel. (No security ) I went back to the office to report this and get better directions. A woman was there arguing that there were bedbugs in her room and she wasn't paying for the 5 nights she and her family stayed there. I got better directions but the check in desk said he couldn't take me there because there was no one else there. After finding my room (badly lit hallway to it) The floor was soaked and collapsing near the AC unit. Someone knocked on my door (the same person who accosted me) during the night. No hot water to shower with in the AM. Didn't care, I checked out and got the hell out of there!

If you are just looking for a place to crash just for a day it's great. We were visiting bush garden, and the hotel was right in front of it. In the same lot, there is Chinese food and a taco Bell, which was soo convenient, the price is great, the staff was very helpful. The room had many things that could be improved. But over all it was clean and spacious.

First of all the 1st room we got the key didn't work after several attempts of resetting it. Second we got moved to a different room and that's where it all started. Roach motel all night! Big, small, in groups. Blood stains on the bathroom walls and by the sink. Holes in multiple places and paint on the floor. Coffee maker with no coffee pot. Rude staff and very smelly! Never would I ever go there again. I still don't believe that they are still running the place as it is. Asked for a refund after taking pictures and showing proof and the manager said was oh well it's not our problem. We ended up sleeping in the car the rest of the night.

First room they gave us was either still being used by someone or had never been cleaned the sheets and towels were everywhere and the tv was on. The second room was filthy. Dirt and trash on the ground. Spider webs and spiders in the bathroom. Gross! The man at the front desk was nice.

Very Rude Staff!!! The owner is very disrespectful!! The electricity in the room kept going out! I had to complain about seeing roaches and bed bugs!! Was at the hotel for 2 days and was moved to a different room 3 times!! Never stay at this hotel!! Very Nasty!! Huge Roaches!!

Although they're trying to update, they still have issues. In my room, the safety bar in the shower was falling off, there was a gap between the wall and the floor in the bathroom, there was rice stuck to the mattress, and lastly we had coffee fixing but no coffee maker.

My brothers room had crunchy Chinese noodles on top of his bed and the water pressure in the shower was low.

The staff was friendly and we took it all in stride. The location is convenient to food, shopping, attractions, and the University. We can hope things are still getting better. Maybe we'll check back next time we're in town to see if there's more progress.

The front door/window was black and dirty. I only gave it one star because of the effort to update the inside of the room. However, the comforter and sheets had holes in them. The walls were damaged and dirty. The paint was flaking off walls. The NON-SMOKING room reeked of smoke and urine. And the hillbillies congregating outside the room at midnight drinking and cursing just made for a horrible experience. This place should be shut down.
