Went here for a co-workers wedding. Resort was beautiful but first impression leggy terrible taste in our mouths. Upon arrival our rooms were not ready and front desk staff was beyond rude. We were them placed on the opposite side of the resort when we were told we would be blocked all together. Wrong coordinator was not very pleasant and accomendations for cocktail hour was not ready when we arrived and area was to small causing people to have to be on top of each other and sit on the floor. Food for reception was amazing. Lounges close early but bartending staff stayed because of large groups coming in. Beach is beautiful plenty of chairs.

Beautiful rooms, views, and food with slight shortcomings. Don't eat or drink here. The room had a fair amount of small ants around all the sinks and trashes in the room. The beach is nice, but hardly kept up. The shuttle to the circle and free cookies are definitely a nice touch though.

Hotel location is perfect, nice beach access with chairs and towels! Rooms are clean with plenty of space. Private parking next to the room. Service was excellent. Helpful staff.

We were guests of my neice and her family. Absolutely beautiful and the staff were all wonderful and nice. I loved every minute there. My mom literally was dieing at the Sarasota hospital and we we're given a chance to release some grief at this amazing resort

Pro: Rooms were very modern and spacious. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The pool is spectacular with very calm waters. Reasonably priced drinks and food in the tiki bar. Nice change rooms by pool with towels and shampoo. Cons: pool deck area is OK and could use revamp. Smell of gas during night. Food very expensive in 8th floor. Very stingy with towels.

We stayed for 10 days at this wonderful resort. There was a small problem with the room reservation at the time we were checking in but it was corrected very quickly. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the staff are all marvelous. My favorite employee by far was Lou who took such good care of us on the beach each day. Lovely man!

Renovated rooms look fantastic! Fresh and clean. Love having tile throughout entire unit so no sandy carpets! Great staff at bar and beach help. Could use a organized few kids activities and beach chairs, other than that great place. New lobby renovation coming soon with help with first impression.

We live in Sarasota and stay at the Lido Beach Resort for a fast one or two-night getaway! They have 2 nice pools one of which is adult only along with multiple hot tubs. The beach is narrow but well kept with chairs provided. Outdoor dining at the pool is convenient and the food is alright but the drinks are great! There is a restaurant in the lobby that is very good for breakfast. They also provide a shuttle to St. Armand's circle that runs until 10 pm which makes it nice to go out without having to worry about parking or driving after a few drinks on the circle!
We had a very nice suite that looked over the pool and beach. The room was modern with a queen bed, a sleeper sofa, nice large bathroom and a full kitchen. It is really nice to wake up and have coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach.
It can be very pricey but if you qualify, they do have steep corporate discount rates.
Room Tip: The tall tower has rooms with great views.response / report this review -

Place is busy but rooms have been nicely refurbished. Staff is very friendly. You will enjoy laying by the beach where lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided. Pool side you will find 2 large pools and several hot tubs. Enjoy sipping a margarita by the tiki bar. Several choice of restaurant from casual to formal. Overall a great experience for a short family weekend trip.

My wife and I found this to be just what we wanted! The staff was friendly, the rooms were very nice with a small kitchenette in the standard room. There is a daily fee but it pays for the free shuttle service water. They have an adult area for the pools and direct access to the beach. Just the right distance from the tourist side of siesta.

Absolutely beautiful. Our room is like a little apartment. One king bed, half kitchen, full size fridge, Hard wood floors. Beautiful bathroom. Decent bed, bring your own pillow. Views to the beach are a glance away. Perfect location. I would vacation here again.

This place is awesome! Two years in a row now and will be back. Nicer than many Hilton's we have stayed and for less money. It is worth every penny. Nice helpful staff. State of the art rooms. Highly recommend!
