I love this place. Excellent service and a very friendly crew. They get you in and out as quick as possible. This is the best place in the Augusta area for tires and alignments.

Went in to have my studded snow tires put on. I think this is the fastest I've ever had it done. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thank you!

From Aroostook county had tire trouble and Mike at Town Fair Tire took care of me and my wife. I would tell anyone in the Augusta area to shop there for Great Service. Just ask for Mike. Dennis

This morning, my 19 yr. old daughter brought her wheel and tire in to have the tire replaced as it had a large hole in the side. They found a like replacement, balanced it and new valve stem. Also on the receipt was $49 for an alignment, of which hadn't even been performed yet! I put the wheel and tire back on the car and it drove fine. No need for an alignment. Furthermore, why charge somebody for a service that had yet to be performed? When I called to have the charge removed, he stated that the alignment may have been thrown off when the tire was damaged. Well, that's fair enough, but you don't charge someone for a service that was unnecessary. He then offered to have the alignment checked! Well, that's a good idea! How about CHECKING IT before charging $50 FOR SOMETHING UNNECESSARY! Sleazy maneuver! I bought these tires here last year but this whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We have 5 other cars and trucks, can anybody guess where we are NOT buying our tires? Dumb, Town Fair Tire, really dumb.

Thanks for your comments, Mr. Allen. However, I think you missed my point entirely. I might ask you what would've happened when she brought the car back for an alignment and it was well within specifications? Were they going to refund her money? The little voice inside my head says no, probably not. Unfortunately for you, she has someone at home that has all but lost complete faith in the retail service industry to do the proper thing. She did go back and get a refund and they did check her alignment. I do thank you for that.response / report this review -

I sent my 17 year old daughter to get new tires put on her car today at the Augusta Maine location. When she left she found that the wheel was shaking badly, so she pulled over to call the store. The wheel was not shaking prior to the service. The person answering the call informed her that once you leave the store, there is nothing they can do.
I have purchased tires for quite some time here, but will not in the future. Bad customer service.response / report this review -

The sales staff at that store really puts out a lot of effort to help in every way possible. Even if they make a mistake they try there hardest to make things right. I would definitely recommend this location for all of your service needs.

Recommend this place highly! The sales team are all incredible! I have recently dealt with Justin and I was blown away by his Courtesy, and insightfulness. Not too mention you can tell all the tech workers take pride in there job, felt so safe after my vehicle had been greatly aligned and balanced! 5 stars for this place hands down!

They are fast ,friendly and seem competent. The special order of tires came in and went on without a hitch.The price was good also.A bit of a backup because it was a busy day.

In a world where one is awful and 5 is spectacular, I'd give this place a solid "3" for Average. My first interaction with the staff left me feeling soured - I had done my homework and walked in knowing what I wanted, and the clerk tried to down-sell me to tires that were worse than what I wanted because they had an overstock of them. Overall, it wasn't a good experience and I was prepared to look elsewhere afterwards.
The car developed a balance/vibration issue after the tires were put on and I scheduled a time to come in and was met by Jason - I believe he may either be the store manager or a really dedicated employee (he was talking to someone about working something like 6 10-hour days) - and he was very courteous, very knowledgeable, and wanted to set things right. He single-handedly saved them a customer.
I'll probably go back for the next set of tires just because I've had a historically bad time finding tire shops worth using, and "Average" is still better than "Horrible"response / report this review -

Best Town Fair Tire in Maine - I've been to multiple Town Fair Tire locations in Maine with decent service and great prices, but this one was the best. Store Manager Lee went the extra mile to make sure my large aftermarket Fuel wheels came back without a scratch! They even replaced a center cap on the spot that I had damaged. These guys know how to take care of your wheels. Best pricing around especially if you factor in the free alignment! Thanks Lee!

I went into Town Fair Tire a few days ago to get some new tires and I was so impressed with the service. The front people were so nice, and my car was in and out in no time. They were definitely right on top of it, where most places will take their sweet time. Definitely bringing my car here from now on!

The team at Town Fair Tire was amazing. They were quick and responsive and listened to my concerns while keeping me within my budget. Their regional manager, Kevin, was in store and took the time to thank me for my business and ensure I was completely satisfied. Highly recommended!
