Not from the area. Driving to Florida on Sunday. AAA towed my car here on a Friday morning at 9:00 AM. Diagnostic with a new fuel pump installed by 4:00 PM the same day. Ready to go! What more could you ask for?

For all the years that I have been traveling back to the Lewiston, Maine area I am grateful that Berube"s has been there to provide towing and mechanic service. The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty to give advice and provide options when a traveler needs unexpected roadside assistance. Recently my sisters and I were on our way for a once in a lifetime day trip when I had a possible mechanical problem with the car. I was just around the corner from Berube's and assured my sisters that they would not be disappointed
. In less than a half hour, a mechanic diagnosed the problem, gave us the okay to travel and we were on our way free from concern. All with courteous direct advice and a AAA discount. This is not the first time Berube's has provided road assistance for my family. Thank you for your continued service!

Had my car towed here overnight via AAA, and called in the morning. The guy I spoke with was friendly from the start, and called me by name. They were able to fix it before noon, so I could get it to an appointment I already had scheduled (for something else) across town. Very impressed! Thank you, I'd recommend to anyone.

Had my car towed here from AAA. Bob clearly didn't care about me and didn't want to figure out what was wrong with my car. Charged me $166 for a diagnosticto plug my car into the computergoing to be over $1000 for the entire fix. Got it done for $250 at another shopdon't go here unless you know them I guess. Truly a thief. AAA recommended doesn't mean anything for these guys.

DO NOT - I repeat - DO NOT purchase a car from this establishment. I bought a car for cash off of their lot, and 30 days later I am the proud owner of a car that's clutch burned out. I drove it 400 miles in that month because the clutch kept locking up and not letting me shift into gear.

The owner is blaming it on me, and is wanting $1400.00 to fix it - sound like a sham? I can assure you that it is.

I had an oil change done at Berube's Complete Auto Care and they were very helpful to me. They are very nice people to work with on my car. I also get my gas there because of the turn over of people getting gas there is no chance that there would be water in their tanks. I would recommend this auto care center to everyone. If I could give them 10 stars or more I would.

Thank you for being so very nice. I and my sister have now made this auto care center our main garage for everything.

I'm leaving my original post below for you to read and see how drastically my opinion of Berube's has changed. They were so nice, so fast, and I had such high hopes that I'd found a great mechanic. Fast forward a few weeks to the same trouble hitting my car and a different mechanic evaluating it. The new mechanic's thoughts? One of two things happened: either something was very foolishly overlooked, or something completely unscrupulous was done at Berube's. Maybe these guys are great to their regulars, but I was just some random lady who pulled off of 95.

Excellent customer service! I couldn't recommend them more. I was away from home when car trouble hit, and they had me back on the road and able to travel home if a few hours.

My husband and I have been loyal customers for many years and have always been very happy with the customer service and the work quality. Bob is honest and has always giving us options to help us save money and time. He has been very flexible with times and days of service. He has a wonderful and trustworthy team so we have always felt comfortable leaving our van there even at times the office is closed. I am always telling my friend about him and his team.
