Gone a few times on special occasions and love it every time. had a issue once and they bent over backwards to make it right and earned my respect.if you are looking for a great place for an occasion this is a must try.

Very high end, smart casual dress code is open ended but decor is very upscale. Specailty cocktails are great! Great steaks and apps.

Nicely appointed steakhouse. I went for lunch with the office crew and had Avery nice lobster salad sandwich with great pickles on the side. I'd definitely go back at night for a steak dinner.

Perfect flavors in everything we tried! Thanks for the great time! We were driving through and were looking for a nice spot to eat along the way This place blew us away with how perfect every aspect of this establishment.

I have been here twice now. The first time I had scallops an last night the sea bass. Both times the food has been outstanding. The service is also excellent. The prices are crazy high but you know that going in do I won't complain. All in all this place lives up to its reputation of great food and service! We will be back again.

Prime is an elegant, high-end steakhouse. Great for a romantic date night. They have large, open rooms upstairs for parties / events.

Best stake house in capital district. All the food is amazing in everyway. Everyone I have been here wait staff and food has been spot on. I've never been disappointed here. Very expensive but really get what you pay for here if you don't mind spending a bit. Very romantic beautiful ambiance.

Quite possibly the best upscale restaurant in Albany. The wine selection is magnificent, and the food is Michelin star worthy. When you sit down at Angelo's the first thing you will notice is the beautiful decor and inviting ambiance.

Just left Angelo's not to long ago. To celebrate Mothers Day Eve with my Mom & Aunt. I planned this a week ahead so I called and made a reservation for 3 within the private loft area. Well when we first arrived I noted to the assistant at the podium that I have arrived.
Sadly we ended up waiting about 15 mins before we were seated. When we finally were taken to be seated we were not seated in the area requested for the reservation. What made the situation worse is that the maitre'd slightly argued with us noting that there is not space within the loft and we basically have to settle.
Long story short we got seated in the loft and it was nice and quiet up there! The French onion soup was delicious!
Restaurant Tip. If you enjoy eating vegetables, chicken, fish or pasta dishes. This place isn't for you! There menu is extremely limited. And sadly so is there dessert menu.

Great service and ambiance. I was let down on the food in terms of price and quantity. There is no upstate discount here so you should expect NYC prices but not NYC quality.

Beautiful interior, intimate and an extremely polished. The exterior can be difficult to notice from the road as it is tucked away under an overpass. Parking can be challenging as it is located in Downtown Albany however they offer a valet that will graciously park your car for you. The service is always exceptional and the quality of the food is always outstanding. The prices of the food are high however the quality makes it worth it. The assortment of exquisite cocktails is exceptional and always extremely tasty. A favorite of ours time after time.

We try to go a least once a year to this fabulous place - usually catching a show after the meal. Our utmost favorite is the seafood tower, but cannot find a single negative for anything else we have ever ordered. You certainly get what you pay for here! The waiters and waitresses pamper you with service. Always a special treat to go there.

Tim, our server, kindly guided me through the menu and (once getting my permission and encouragement), selected a wonderful meal for me. Spectacular service and surprises along the way. This is the top tier restaurant of a high-end dining empire in the Capital Region.
Don't come here planning to economize. Save it for a splurge and go all out.response / report this review
