Very nice, well maintained place. Only two complaints. The bed was way too soft in my unit. Also, it is not handicap friendly to get to the pool from most floors at The Tides. My husband uses a cane, so that was a bit of a let down.

Stayed overnight with some friends that were vacationing at Tops'l Beach & Racquet Resort. The condo that they rented is amazing, tons of room, and the pool is absolutely fantastic. Right one one of the best beaches I've ever visited too, complete clarity even in should deal water. Would highly recommend if you have the chance!

I very much enjoyed my vacation at Tops'l. The rooms were well designed for a comfortable stay. The food is good and the beach is fabulous. The grounds were beautiful, several times I was able to watch some resident Deers grazing on the property. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Tim at the front desk went out of his way to help me in extending my visit. I would highly suggest this as a wonderful place to stay in Destin. I look forward to my next visit.

Location is great. Right on the beach. The room was spacious and fairly updated and clean. A few items were not working (dishwasher, hair dryer, cabinet door falling off). Maintenance fixed the dishwasher but still waiting for the other items to be repaired. Overall it's better than some of the other locations I've stayed at along the Destin/Miramar strip.

Absolutely beautiful property. The views are clear open waters all around you. This resort sits off in the middle of nowhere tucked away all by itself. Private safe little community style getaway perfect for families

Outstanding vacation spot. We had a villa near tennis courts that was pleasant and nicely decorated. The only downside for me was a very unpleasant bed. We stayed in the master room of villa 47 and the bed was extra firm. I could feel the springs as I lay down. Overall I really enjoyed it But a good night's sleep is very important in vacation, and I didn't get one. Your miles may vary along with the beds. I still recommend this resort to anyone. Daughter loved being able to walk outside to a pool and we liked the shuttle service to and from the beach. It's not located inside the busy downtown area, so it feels more relaxed, too. We aren't tennis players, but the courts are well maintained and well lit as well. The best part was we arrived very early at 1000 central. They let us check in right away. This is August though and most folks are done with vacationing, so again your miles may vary.

Recommend renting through Resort Quest which is Wyndham's rental/management company. Had a bad experience with the accommodations at the resort when renting through another agency. It was worth the extra couple hundred dollars to get a condo which had been cleaned and cared for. Also we did not care for the overall state of the Beachfront Manor. The common areas appeared dirty and residents had their trash outside their front doors when we arrived (for pick up?). With the bug issues in Florida you would think trash chutes would be utilized. The Tides building felt head and shoulders above in terms of overall cleanliness and was a much more comfortable stay. So 5 Stars for the Tides and Resort Quest. 1 Star for Beachfront Manor and Best Beach Getaways.
