I’ve been here a few times when I’ve been in town on business. Last time I went both days I was in town. Taylor ham and cheese on a hard roll is a slice of heaven I never knew existed. Their soups are also fantastic. Friendly service - great local NJ diner.

Went in to get some breakfast after being in the area for a wedding. My girlfriend went to use the bathroom as there were 2 other parties ahead of me. When I was up next, another party of 2 was waiting behind me. A man, whose name I didn't bother remembering started to seat the people who came in after me (after they even told the man that I was here first). Upon me telling him there would be my girlfriend (still in the bathroom) and I dining, he proceeded to take the aforementioned party of 2 first as he "didn't see" the other person with me. Needless to say my girlfriend and I found the Manville Diner (an easy 10 minute drive away), a much better diner that actually makes their customers feel welcome.

A favorite destination.
The food isn't always perfect, but once you find your favorites on the menu, stick with them and you won't be disappointed.
Good portions for the price.

I've been coming here for years. Best place to come if you're starving late at night. Service is great and wholesome. Parking is fine. Great place to bring the whole family or just to grab a quick snack.

The food is usually pretty good. It's basic diner food for a pretty good price. I eat there often.
The service can be so-so. Many times the servers are speedy, friendly and thorough. Sometimes they're one or two of those things. Sometimes they are none of those things which can lead to a frustrating experience.
It's still one of my favorite places to go and relax with friends.response / report this review -

We have been going here for years. My wife always gets the polish pork chops as they remind her of her grandmother's cooking. I usually get one of the fat cat sandwiches. The food is always excellent and the service is very good. You will not be sorry for going here.

Had breakfast this morning with an old friend, hoping to catch up. Half way through breakfast the waitress gave us the bill and handed us a plastic bag to wrap up leftovers. We were made to feel like we needed to vacate quickly. Bus boys were cleaning up tables nearby and were not trained to do so in a quiet manner. Clashing of plates combined with being given the rush. Cashier rang up someone else's bill for us which was double the price, we had to clarify the correct charges.

I'd give it no stars if I could. I always feel like you cant go wrong with a diner but that was not true in this case. The food was horrible. Both me and my friend thought so. It tasted straight out of a can/package. Very bland or just too much salt. Then walking back from the bathroom I happen to notice their muffins are purchased from a wholesale club! Probably where all their food comes from. Do not recommend.

A great traditional diner. They have a huge menu with something for everybody. Good size portions and all the extras that come with the meal is really impressive. The price of the meal even included my drink. How many places still do that? Nice staff and even though the place was packed we had our food in 10 min. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be stopping.

As far as Diners go..you couldn't ask for a better one. Working in Central Jersey, there are plenty of Diner options. I eat here on an average of 3 times a week. Delicious food and Awesome Service!

Really good food, our waitress was great didn't even have to ask for a refill on my coffee,Ps 3 ups coffee and she asked if I wanted another!! Left her a nice tip for Christmas! ! My brother Wayne lives this place!

This is a typical diner. Very clean with outstanding people working the restaurant. The food is what you expect. Fresh, cooked for flavor and presented well plus you get a big serving.
The only issue you may have is getting to the place as it's located on the 28/202/206 circle's northbound ramp. The good news is, if you miss the exit you can ro around until you get it right. :-)
