Very busy place but neat setting with old trinkets decorating the restaurant and bar. Drinks are good but food is just OK. Have been there twice now. Portions are very large with lots of menu selections but quality of the food is lacking. Exception was the littleneck clams appetizer- those were delicious.

This is a fantastic little Pub right in the heart of everything in Newport. Fantastic beer selection and a very good menu. Lots of Pub standards with creative twists make this worth visiting on your next trip to Newport

What a cool pub. We're a young family, kids aged 5-12 and this place rocked. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The food was amazing. The ambiance and decor made it all the more cool. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Good food and atmosphere. Salad Bar was a little pricey to add on, but great selection. Next time I am in town will definitely stop by. Calamari was great.

This was my first ever lobster roll. Unlike some places that glob a ton of mayonnaise on their roll this place serves pure buttered lobster on a bed of lettuce. It was huge, messy and quite delightful. They also offer a very nice salad bar with excellent clam chowder.

The absolute best restaurant ever. Fun atmosphere. Nothing bad on the menu. Huge selection. Best salad bar and lobster mac and cheese.

Wow! Their Georgia Golden burger is in my top 10 favorite burgers! Absolutely delicious & the fries were fabulous too. My husband loved the Scallops Piccata. They do not skimp on the seafood. The place has a comfortable atmosphere & great service. The prices were between $15-25 per lunch/dinner, so it wasn't super cheap, but not super expensive either. Our lunch (with 1 adult beverage each) totaled $50 + $11 tip.

Very good food, nice atmosphere and the beer was great. Service was pretty good too.I had the stuffed shrimp and they were so good. Salad bar was a pleasant surprise and the place is decorated with all kinds of memorabilia. I'd definitely go back.

Dined at the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant while visiting Newport for the day. We were seated quickly after a brief wait at the awesomely decorated bar. Our booth was equally as fascinating, with unique memorabilia throughout the room. We loved the way this bar was set up! Large beer selection gave us a bit of a hard time, but we made great decisions on our beers once we finally decided!
The Lobster Avocado sandwich and Burger that we chose were both incredible. Our waiter was very accommodating to us sharing the plates, and brought us additional plates for us to use while dining. Overall we had a great experience at the Brick Alley!

The wait is long and you are crammed into any nook and cranny while you are waiting. The decor is chock full of different memorabilia. So why the five stars? The food is wonderful! Definitely worth the wait. The clam chowder is the best I have ever had. They will also adapt an order to your own specifications. A must for anyone in Newport.

This place is located right in downtown Newport near all the shops. I visited in the off-season for lunch and service was great, food was high quality, and there is a cool pub-style atmosphere with vintage decor. A little pricey, but not unreasonable for Newport. Great burgers.

Update: I visited this place again in the evening for dinner with a small group. While it does get pretty crowded and chaotic around the bar area, and the wait time can get pretty long, once you're seated, the food is still really great and the service is still nice even when extremely busy.

The lobster roll at $18.00 was about 5 inches but stuffed well with lobster. We asked the waitress if it was big enough for 2 people to share and she said yes. It wasn't enough for one person. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was HUGE! We wanted to share this too. It was more than enough for 2. We took half of it home. Excellent service, nice atmosphere but overpriced Lobster Rolls.

Have always loved this place! There was a huge crown for the parade, but we hung out by the bar and a waitress came around for us who was festive and super friendly. And she was there in no time! This particular time we just grabbed some drinks but the food is great too. Always a pleasure!
