The directions to the Unicoi campsite was slightly confusing, took a trip to the lodge and back out to the main road to realize the location of the campsite was before the lodge.

I was disappointed to see the campground location to be so close in proximity to the next campsite. Due to this, there was lots of noise late into the evening which made it difficult to unwind, sleep and enjoy our accommodations. The scene was a lot quieter Saturday night!

The RTIC drink cups were missing their caps and dirty. So even if we wanted us them for our coffee we would have to clean them.

Otherwise, the accommodations were great. The restrooms were well maintained for public restrooms/ showers. Just be prepared for critters (daddy long legs, crickets, beetles and big brown spiders). Definitely a Glamping experience with the luxuries of home.

We must have just picked the worst campsite out of all of them (#12). The tent itself was convenient and cute but I paid with the expectation of having a pleasant area outside of the tent for us to hang out in because that is such an important part of the camping experience (in my opinion). The string lights and hammocks were BEHIND the tent, which made them completely pointless (and covered in webs and spiders). Because the string lights didn’t even TOUCH the front/other side of the tent we used headlamps while we ate and prepared our food next to the fire pit. I was excited for the experience but us basically paying $200 (including the cleaning and misc. fees) to sit in the dark outside of our tent ruined the entire experience. Even though it wouldn’t have made much of a difference, the small citronella tea light candle was also burned out and we didn’t get to utilize that either. It was hard to enjoy our time when looking across from us there was a perfectly placed and lit up glamping tent that was actually functional for a night of camping where sitting outside looked enjoyable. I do not think I will come back, and if I do, I am going to drive through and double check I don’t make the same mistake again of trusting all the camp sites will be equal to each other.

Great "glamping" experience!! We've done a lot of tent camping and it was nice to be able to unload the car into a tent already up and ready for guests!

11 of 10 Stars. Loved this. VERY spacious tent with real beds. A/C and fridge worked perfectly (and were extremely quiet). Can't beat being in Unicoi State Park with access to the lake and Anna Ruby Falls nearby. Highly recommend the "gazebo" over the picnic table to ward off bugs (or rain) outside. Also the propane fire pit was really great.

My family loved our experience glamping!! The a/c worked perfectly and out tent was cute, comfy and spacious!! Getting there was a bit confusing at first if you don’t know the area but other than that no issues at all!! 10/10 would recommend!!
