  They say that moving is one of the biggest stressors in life. This would have been true if not for Dan and Connie and the House of Couse team. After walking through our house, they put together a detailed list of what needed to be done as well as a list of contractors that could do the work. In 3 weeks, the work was done, the house was staged, professional photos were taken and it was ready to go on the market. Dan does not just put a for sale sign in the yard… he calls agents and networks to get it sold and get it sold at top dollar. The work he does behind the scenes does not go unnoticed. He is always prompt with getting back to you and always seems to have an answer or know where to find one. Connie is also working so hard behind the scenes. She not only tells you how to make a room look inviting, but she will help you find exactly what you are looking for to complete the look. They are constantly going above and beyond to make this process as smooth as possible. They really do make the perfect team! Leaving our house of 14 years was an emotional process and they were always there to listen and lend a kind word. I can not recommend this team enough. They have not only become our realtors for life, but they are our friends for life as well!!

  Where to even start. Needless to say the experience with Dan and his team was absolutely exceptional. So many things arose during our process that are not common; there is really not enough credit to give to him, his team and his family for the hours sacrificed to ensure we sold our house and made it into a new one.
  Our home went onto the market and sold within a weekend which was a highlight to the process. He told us the house was about to go live, marketing went out and I even started seeing my house for sale on social media. Having the house sell in a weekend would seem like a great place to leave the story however the buyers, just weeks away from closing got cold feet. During the inspection, our roof was flagged for needing large amounts of repair. We negotiated with the buyers offering to fix the roof or giving an percentage discount for the cost of the roof. After we agreed to the buyers terms they still decided they did not want to buy the home, leaving us in a scramble. Dan quickly put together another marketing campaign, started letting local realtors know what was going on and telling them of a hot sale about to hit the market again. This is all happening while the contingent offer for the new home was now on the line. He was able to persuade the new home sellers to not go back to markets for a one to two weeks while we tried to sell our house again. They obliged and our house luckily sold within days once again of going back on the market. While the process was going on Dan was also furiously helping find contractors to look at and to fix our roof. He found us Manning Roofing who needs a 5 star review themselves. The roof was completely replaced within a week and half, we closed on the house and was able to keep the house we planned to buy.
  The story does not even end there. After all of that extra effort. Upon moving into the new house, day one, we find the sellers of the new home had broken the kitchen sink after the inspection, we assume while moving out, and water was just going through into the cabinets. Dan was once again on the job while stopping by just to see how the new house was looking and to say hi after taking possession. Dan literally jumped on the phone while at the house and started finding names of contractors to fix the sink and then to cap it off about a month later invited us to a cute Pie Party for the holidays to say thank you for all of the business to his clients.
  I know this is more a book than a simple review of Dan and his team are great but you just never understand the stress and level of dedication someone is willing to apply for you until your in the thick of it. I would recommend House of Couse 100 stars if I could but let me tell you, you will not find someone better in the KC area. He will go to bat for you, he will grand slam for you. His teams is literally amazing and I feel unbelievably blessed to have had him working for me through all of the chaos.

  Dan’s patience and attention to detail was excellent. He has a keen eye for spotting issues, and a sharp mind for solving problems. We had specific requirements for Dan in both the sale of our existing home and purchase of a new home, and he did a great job remaining focused on the issues that were important to us.   We hired the House of Couse to recently sell our home in Leawood/Overland Park, KS and the service and dedication we received was Outstanding.
  I have known Dan and Connie Couse for many years as close friends.
  Over the years, we would see the hard work and dedication that they provided to their other clients. This is the reason we chose Dan to represent us and assist in the sale of our home.
  We met with Dan and Connie on several occasions prior to the listing to get the house in order and they were so helpful. Dan provides a very detailed package with all the information of recent sales, the market trends and updates similar homes on the market to make the decision of listing a well thought out process.
  Once we saw our listing online we were blown away (the professional photographer did a great job and it made a great impact with the marketing of our home).
  Throughout the entire process, Dan kept in touch with us and kept us updated on all the activity. Going above and beyond, he also spent countless hours on research and issues that unexpectedly came up during the inspections. I had complete trust in all the information that Dan provided, and he was right there with us ON OUR SIDE during all the negotiations.
  Once we had the contract, Dan and Connie were both there through the complete process and closing.
