  I went to Therapeutic Massage for cranial sacral therapy for the head and neck issues I've been having from my orthodontic treatments for TMJ and for foot pain. There are two things I would like to address regarding my session. One, the massage was very therapist led and Ron told me that he would find "Textures of Symmetry" and alleviate those during our session. I didn't realize that would mean I would not get my areas that I presented adequately addressed. I left without getting the pain in my jaw, arches in my feet and a knot on the side of my neck relieved. Two, Ron proceeded to do a technique called Diaphragm Release and place his hands in unconventional areas for massage therapy. I felt uncomfortable and when I voiced my concerns he defended himself by saying that I would not benefit from the session if he did not address those areas. I later googled the term and found that massage therapists use this technique for various things like C-section scar tissue and it is a legitimate technique, but after processing my experience with my brother-in-law who is a nurse practitioner and LMT in Boston, he assured me that proceeding with a technique like that where the hand placement is in unconventional areas without the client's compliance is not legitimate. The LMT code of conduct requires a therapist to ask, for instance, "I am going to do Diaphragm Release and it requires that I place my hands here and here. If you are comfortable with that, I will proceed." I was not asked that question and therefore found the experience unprofessional.

  Best massage ever for an issue. Having issues with my lower back right hip area.. very painful, been multi times to local Chiropractor .. YET, I have been to Ron now only 2 times.. what an improvement! as a side benefit, I had not tbeen able to fully straighten /lock my right knee for years.. I can now !!! If you are experiencing issues and need Chiropractic adjustment.. do yourself a favor and add this to your tally, it will make all the difference.

  I went to Ron after a friend suggested it. Ron had helped her so tremendously when no one else could. I had been to many doctors, physical therapists, and other massage professionals with minimal help. After my first visit with Ron, I knew I was on the right track, I felt a huge improvement. After my third session, I felt so close to my old self again I was amazed. He was unlike any other masseuse I had seen. He is very knowledgeable with the mechanics of the body and highly educated in his field. It wasn't just a "feel good" massage, he was one session at a time ridding me of pain and distress that I had carried for years. He and his wife are kind and respectful, making you feel right at ease. I cannot thank Ron enough for how much he has helped me. He is even going to make me a specially tailored exercise program to follow at home to complement what he does in the office. Five star care and professionalism all the way around!!! I couldn't give them a higher recommendation!
