I have eaten at WSL several times, dine in and carry out, and the food is amazing! THE BEST KALE SALAD I HAVE EVER EATEN. I get mine without bacon, and could seriously eat one every. single. day. Also the fries, tomato fennel soup, and grilled cheeseseriously great food. Comfort with an upscale twist. Highly recommended even if you’re not in the area.

Delicious, local, perfect

I am mad at every single fry I have had in my life that wasn't like these fries. Perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, salty, heaven.

We had the Sleepless in Seattle and the League of Their Own beverages. Expertly crafted and a delight to behold.

Can't believe we stumbled upon here, just looking for a place close to our B&B. Wow. 5 stars. Absolutely coming back. Wow KC!

Fresh , organic and delicious. Laid back atmosphere. Wonderful garden in the rear. I enjoy eating on the roofed patio surrounded by natural vegetation.😀

What a fun haunt in KC! The bar is where it is at for ambiance and energy and the craft cocktails are on point! I am also still craving the kale salad! Add this to your list of must try KC eats!

The food is amazing! It is definitely one of those places where no matter what I try, it is really delicious. They also feature an inventive drink menu that changes with the season. The staff has always been great. There's also a pretty sweet patio.

I just love this restaurant! The menu is constantly changing due to the owner purchase local in season food items (all fresh). The chef comes up with great recipes and the people are courteous and pleasant. Also, if you haven't experienced their Sunday Blunch, you need too; the biscuits with the mushroom gravy is delicious (the best I ever had) and the French Toast - wow.

We were in town visiting our Grandchildren. We brought along Great-Grandma. She said she felt like a queen in such a nice room. Great-Grandma has mobility issues and the staff was so courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great. The menu was rotated, so, if you stay multiple days, you can experience a variety of choices.
