I have been here a couple times now and not once was I disappointed. The staff is world class and the food is worth every cent. You leave feeling quite satisfied with yourself and the establishment. The wine selection is also very wide and most of the staff have a decent knowledge of the wines as well as some having good suggestions for pairings. Over all I highly recommend this Bristol to anyone coming down to downtown KC in PNL.

Not worth the wait even though we made a reservation well in advance. The service was slow on a not apparently busy week night and our waiter was arrogant and condescending. We went there specifically for the seafood but were not given the seafood menu and when we saw crablegs at the next table AFTER we finished our meal, our waiter swore he gave us a menu. The rolls too sweet, the tacos were very bland, and the crab cakes were basically just lumps of canned crab plopped I our plates. Additionally, there were televisions in the bar area which gave it a feel of any other sports bar and not the pseudo-gourmet restaurant we expected for a birthday celebration. If it was a bad night, it was a shame because we plan never to go back and recommend other options instead. We've heard Extra Virgin is great and plan to visit soon!

I was there for thanksgiving dinner and I’ve been sick every since. I was in a group of 6 and was the only one to eat the seafood buffet, I’m thinking that’s where I went wrong. See the Dr. Tomorrow

Chef Travis over heard my boyfriend and I trying to decided where to go on Thankgovinf when he offered us a spot at the Bristol on a very busy day. Chef Travis made sure we were taken care of from drinks to dessert. Staff was amazing! Food was awesome!

Server was not attentive ,the food quality was poor! Very disappointed in the experience. Usually really enjoyGone down will choose another venue next time..

I frequent this restaurant more than any other, and was disappointed with the scallops, for 35 dollars I recieved 5 small scallops the size of a nickel, and very dry and over cooked. My only regret is not sending them back. Our server also seemed to be MIA most of the time, and we had to ask others walking by for a drink.

Tonight was our first time here. Our waiter was very nice and knew the menu well. Nice atmosphere and wine selection but the food was just okay, nothing special. Not worth trying again.

I ordered the Seafood Mixed Grill and the Pardon My French. This is the first place where I have ever been served MOIST scallopsthese were not dried out! Crab salad was delicious. The shrimp were perfectly grilled with just a bit of zip, and were not dried out like some grilled shrimps. The salmon was also moist and almost flaked just by looking at it! I'm not a big salmon fan but I would eat this salmon again in a heartbeat. The potatoes and grilled asparagus were an excellent combination with this dish. A mild sauce as well as a spicy sauce come with this entree; both are very good but I opted for the mild. Even the biscuits and honey butter before the meal are melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Pardon My French is a sweet yet somewhat tangy martini, pleasant to all the senses and perfect for someone who prefers sweet over dry. It paired very well with my entree. Go alone and fall in love with the food, or take your loved one and let them fall in love with you all over again--you can't beat the food or the mood in this place. My dinner and two martinis brought my bill to nearly $70 plus tip, so it's pricey but expect to get what you paid forexcellent food, service and atmosphere.

We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer. They came cold and tasted "off". I ordered halibut for a meal. It was over-cooked and very bland. My husband ordered the ribeye, and it was just ok. They came around with biscuits, and even the biscuits were hard. It was not worth the price at all. Maybe it was just an off night for this restaurant, but our experience was horrible 👎

I AM A SEAFOOD LOVER!! Best Scallops that I have ever tasted! & one of the Best Lobsters!! Service was great and I always love the atmosphere! What I not like was the Lobster Mac & Cheese, it was bland, did not like the sauce.

I have tried Bristol twice now and I'm unimpressed. Slightly bland food, overpriced and slow service. My first trip I got the crab cakes appetizer. It was good but very small portions. I got the crusted tilapia for my entree and it was flavorless. I was very disappointed. My second trip I went for lunch and service was so slow. I was there for almost 45 min before my appetizer and salad arrived and another 30 minutes after that before meals arrived. It was not overly busy and there were only two people at my table. Definitely was not a "power" lunch. I ordered the shrimp tempura sushi roll for an appetizer. It was okay. Definitely better at a sushi restaurant for a lower price. The lobster macaroni and cheese was pretty good but definitely not worth the wait. The rolls are absolutely delicious and about the only thing I've tried so far that is worth coming back. After the long wait for food today, I will not be coming back.
