Beautiful hotel! We went over to see the Gingerbread displays. It was a lot smaller than. It's been in previous years. But it was still really neat to see and they hotel's Christmas decorations are lovely!

Amazing hotel. Great golf course. The staff are amazing and do everything for you. You don't have to touch anything. It was great. Felt like a king. Spa was good. The staff was professional.

Very nice and upscale hotel. The staff was polite and helpful. The location of this hotel/resort is very unique. To go downtown we took a ferry that took us from the hotel to the other side of the river where the majority of the restaurants and attractions ware.
Unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of all the amenities at the resort.
I'm not sure if it was the time we were visiting or it is a constant thing that goes on, but the noise from the race track is quite annoying.response / report this review -

Excellent hotel. Ended up staying here for 3 + 1 thanks to flights cancelled by the hurricanes. Concierge was extremely patient and flexible with the constantly changing flight schedules and were generous with late checkouts and last minute extensions. As for the facilities, there is a ferry that runs twice an hour during the day to take you across the river (where the rest of the town is). We found the relative seclusion to quite pleasant. Did not play the golf course but were quite tempted by the steeply discounted rates offered after 3pm.

This place gets 3 stars because it gave us free rides to town and had an awesome waitress at breakfast and bartender at night. The check-in process was lengthy due to a suggestion by one lady who then left and the next had me wait 20 minutes while the online reservation appeared. The website offers a package and room type that you then find out is impossible to guarantee when you call and when you arrive find it will always be impossible. Do not hope you will get the 4pm late checkout. They can not go later than 2pm. I just don't understand why they even suggest a possibility that is impossible and then look at you like you are crazy for suggesting it. I guess they don't know what is offered online? But, being rude via phone and in person isn't the way to go.
The place is decent, no late night snacks to be found and pool is shallow, which is great for kids. Nice splash pad and Jacuzzi.response / report this review -

PERFECT VIEW of Historic Savannah!! Easy access to the city with the free tender. So close to Hilton Head easy 26 mile drive n only 18 miles from Tylbee Island. A lot of historic landmarks in Savannah. We will be back.
Only issue I have is with the hidden fees and charges. Every day you will be charged some random fees even if you are not using all the hotel amenities.response / report this review -

Wonderful urban resort! The pool is right on the river so you can watch the ships go by while you lounge. The public spaces we're renovated in August 2017 and look fresh and inviting. AquaStar restaurant gave us a great meal. Ask for a table with a river view! The spa is a minute's drive away (and the hotel's car will take you on request), and I had a lovely massage there. On top of all this, the free Savannah water taxi stops at the hotel, so it's very easy to get across the river to explore Savannah! We're going back!

Nice atmosphere. Everything was great until we got in the bathroom. The toilet ran off and on the whole time. The drain in the shower was very slow and by the end of a ten minute shower I was standing in at least 4 inches of water. There was some water damage to the ceiling and it took 5 minutes to get the hot water to come through. I also ended up getting sprayed in the face because someone left the shower wand on and facing the outside of the shower. The bartender at midnight sun was extremely pleasant. Not sure if we will stay again, the amenities are nice but the bathroom kind of ruined it for me. We were only there for one night so I cannot say whether or not they would have taken action to fix the remainder of our stay if it had been longer.

The hotel staff is friendly and truly accomodating. We had a room on the sixth floor which was nicely furnished and had the amenities you would expect from a upscale hotel. Room service was prompt and the servers were extremely courteous. But the view was the clincherbreath taking! We loved watching the huge ships navigate up and down the Savannah River. The no-charge ferry to and from River Street is a great convenience. And, when we left, I realized I left a nice book behind. I called around one o'clock and spoke with someone who personally checked on my book and called me back to offer to ship it to me, without charge, through FedEx! By 2:40 I received a notification that a shipment was already scheduled. Now THAT is service, at its finest! Should someone be planning a trip to Savannah, I would highly recommend staying at the Westin.

We had our wedding at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa this weekend and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. Kristen Haddick and the staff at the Westin Savannah helped create the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. Thanks to her and her team we had the Champions suite for my bridal party to get ready in- highly recommend this gorgeous view! We were able to take pictures throughout the resort because of the fantastic views and well maintained hotel and lawn. Kristen was always a quick email or call away and helped put my mind at ease throughout the entire planning process. Our meals were just as good as we remember from the tasting and the staff were all incredibly professional and accommodating. If you are looking for an "all in one" venue then this is the place for you!! I'm an incredibly happy bride!!

Beautiful hotel with great views all around. Staff was attentive and the pool area had a great vibe. Hotel did not offer too much in the way of bars and restaurants which is surprising due to the size of the hotel and the convention center being right next door. Room lacked all that was needed for a perfect stay. The only place that I could get my phone to charge was in the bathroom. The TV struggled to turn on and water did not drain out of the tub completely. Having said that, the bed was super comfortable.

I always stay here when my wife and I get away alone for a night. Great services. Spacious and comfortable accommodations. A great view of the Savannah river and River Street if that's what you ask for. The price is comparable to other hotels on River Street and you can catch the Ferry across to River Street for free instead of needing a cab. I even hear they have great golfing although I've never tried it.

I am beyond happy with my decision to stay at The Westin Savannah! The room was beyond impressive, Aqua is outstanding, the grounds are beyond gorgeous, and all details are well maintained. The nice woman at the front desk must've heard my wife and I discussing her birthday upon check-in and we received a call just before 10 P.M. in our room for an "amenities drop-off". I was confused until we were brought a gigantic cupcake and complimentary bottle of champagne on ice.
Southern charm is real and it lives at The Westin Savannah. They have earned a lifetime customer who looks forward to returning soon.response / report this review -

This is my second time staying and my experience was wonderful. Our room was big and bright. The linen on one of the beds was a bit old and stained and they graciously changed all of the linens and completely turned the room for us that first evening. Our room faced the golf course, although the River view is more coveted. We enjoyed time on the patio by the pool, it was too cold to go swimming. And my daughters and I had lunch in the Midnight sun cafe. It was pretty good and the prices are fair.
