Great food, great setting and good service. Can't ask for much more. Menu is creative but not too over the top. Drinks are definitely a highlight as well.

Everything about this place is great, except one thing. The food is great, the service is great, and the view out into the ocean is incredible. I said there is one thing, there are actually two things. The big one is everything here is expensive, very expensive. But, the place does have a great view and good food. The only thing I would change, besides the prices, is the upstairs bar has the customers facing with their backs to the incredible view. They should spin the bar around so when the customers are seated, they’re facing the huge bay windows.

We got a recommendation from a friend to visit this restaurant for brunch last week and we are so glad we listened!!! We received top notch service from the friendliest of staff. Both managers came around and introduced themselves and checked in on our meal. This is such a rare experience these days! We were placed at one of the nicest tables outside with a view we will never forget. We never felt rushed to leave, and could have stayed there all day, staring out at the water! Everything we ordered was out of this world and we wish we lived closer so we could visit again.

My favourite place in the area. It is a bit posh but no heavy dress code more on the service and price front. The only place in the area with a view to the Ocean and the pier so it is worth every penny. And the food is great too, whatever you choose!

Great place for a special evening or Sunday brunch -- and especially for taking friends from out of town when you want to splurge. Excellent views of the walking and bicycle paths below, as well as the pier. I love that they are meticulous and regular about cleaning the giant picture windows, and the place is modern in all the right ways. On the downside it's almost always crowded, and best enjoyed on an expense account especially if you have a large party.

Phenomenal experience. I started with the downstairs bar while waiting for a table and the service was excellent and the room has a great vibe. I was seated 20 minutes later upstairs with an excellent beach front view; our service started with the sommelier and was thorough and professional. The waitstaff provided several wonderful choices when asked to provide a small plate tasting menu and the combination of the ambiance, food, and service was extraordinary. This was perfect.

Came here to enjoy a amazing dinner. Staff was very polite and we were lucky to have a window seat with the amazing sunset view. Everything was delicious and that they give you doggy bags for leftovers makes it even better. Would definitely recommend this to someone that wants to eat in a fancier surrounding.

Great atmospheric lounge, nice decor drinks are decent and typical for this place. Bartender we had wasn't very friendly, poured what he wanted for our drinks and didn't care to communicate that if they don't have a particular brand that he'll give you the next most expensive drink without asking you. Service was poor and not welcoming at the bar. Would go elsewhere

The neat ocean and beach view alone is a worthwhile experience. Attended a birthday brunch here, was apart of a party of about 20 people and we were all well accommodated by the friendly and attentive staff; was even given menu's with the birthday girls name headed on them. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and the birthday girl raved about the kale salad

Unbeatable views of the Manhattan Beach Pier and ocean. Classy modern decor. Big wine selection, but only a few beer options. There were some good local craft beer options, so that was not a big issue. Didn't order food, but it seemed very overpriced.

Tailored to be a very high end place, and looks the part. Staff is super friendly and for the most part did a great job. Portions are good for the price but the experience lacked a professional service while dining. Had to ask for everything including salt and pepper, asked for sparkling water and the guy whisked away both mine and my dates regular water for some reason and the sparkling didn't come for another 20 minutes after I asked about it. Didn't offer limes for my water, or lemons for the seafood/food and then decided to fill up my glass to the rim with the sparkling water, we'll known mistake. Food came after about an hour and was very tasty but while ordering there was no feedback given on the foods.. recommendations .. specials .. nothing. Ordered the lamb chops medium rare.. they were just rare and barely touched the grill.. fine for some people , not for me, and if that's how MR is served at your establishment it should be shared with customer when they order it. Great view of the pier however and beautiful restaurant, maybe just needs some more training. I'll try it again just for the view but this place is not cheap $60/person for 2 apps and a pizza and entree with non alcoholic drinks.
