  I requested the deep tissue massage, definitely was not satisfied with the outcome. It was nice, but nothing over the top. Then had a mani/pedi done. Felt like she was rushing the whole time. Did both coats of polish ontop of each other plus the clear coat. Every single nail smudged and looks awful. Plus she clipped my skin. Then they automatically add an 18% gratuity. I should have spoke up but didn't. A huge waste of $270.

  I drove 3.5 hours to the spa for a hair and make up trial for my wedding. I wanted a simple bun with a braid. I can't even explain what she did to my hair but it was 8 different types of awful. Then, the woman doing my make up had just came in from a smoke break and reeked of cigarettes. The make up looked awful. She didn't do my eyebrows and only put eyeliner on me after I requested it. The foundation covered nothing and was shiny on my face. It was the worst experience, and cost 145 for something I could have done better myself.

  My better half and I came here for 4 days of rest and relaxation. We got exactly what we wanted, this place is simply beautiful. We got 2 couples massage and I got the best deep tissue massage of my life. I wish I could give a 4.5 but there where a few small things that could be improved. We thought the bed we had was a bit hard for us. The clear top coat on the manni came off in less than an hour. I am sure it works great over painted nails but I don't color mine. Overall, this place is great and I do recommend it. Even if you never make it to the wet / dry area of the spa, the in-door out-door pool and outdoor hot tubs are worth the visit. I loved the yoga class with Elaine!

  Back was all jacked up so I did a couple of spa days while the family skied. Pricy place but 2 massages were worth the splurge. Highly recommend Erica for the 80-min Swedish Massage and Renee for the 80-min Sports Massage. Both were strong and able to apply the right ( ie. Strong) pressure. (I'm a big guy and hate delicate massages.). Very friendly. Massage was totally customized to me. Also, got a hot towel facial and a scalp massage during family's stay here at Boyne. They were fine, but pretty delicate. Couldn't help thinking that I should have skipped those two treatments and instead, gotten another massage instead. Guys, indulge in one of the 80 massages. Skip the other stuff.

  I love doing a monthly day at the spa with a girlfriend and it's always here! I just wish I could make it happen more!

  Pretty good spa. I wasn't blown away by the massage I got and I thought it was overpriced. However, everything else was outstanding. I especially liked the steam room, locker room and relaxation area.
