2nd visit this year, if i lived 1039 miles closer I'd go every other week. The food is.. The service makes the spectacular food taste 10x more fabulous. 6 people in this party and everyone enjoyed and spoke about this dinner for a 3 days. They even went out of their way to make it a dish that I had the last time I was there and was off menu currently. We actually had an unfortunate event at this dinner in regards to a particular dish, however, our server and manager immediately jumped into action and more than made up for the inconvenience. I was more than grateful and impressed with their hospitality and generosity.
When back IN DC, definitely heading back to The Source. HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDresponse / report this review -

Good place for dinner and the taste of whole food is unbelievable. Expensive but worth to try if you have time to make reservations. The restaurant is inside the newspaper museum and good place for family.

Came here for a sushi demonstration. Chef Russell was an amazing instructor and an even more spectacular chef. The food was absolutely delicious and the selections he made spot on.

Staff was super nice, food and drinks looked great, but tasted way less than what we were paying for. Biggest example we ordered the banana cream pie and got a food item that was gorgeous looking but was about the size of a roll of quarters. Additionally food took an obnoxious amount of time to get to the table.

We enjoyed a special anniversary celebratory dinner last Monday night. Food was fantastic, service outstanding. They provided us with a curtained-off table for privacy, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Marcel's for fine dining and special occasions.

Overall, this was one of the better tasting meals I've had. The restaurant deserves kudos for its flexibility within the set menu (for example, if you picked a six course menu, you could have six of the same thing, or six different things, or any mix of the foregoing). While not cheap, the pricing was not shocking. The only improvement I would suggest is that we went at the same time as the theatre crowd (while not seeing a show ourselves), and it seemed like the staff was accommodating the theatre times at the detriment to the non-theatre crowd-we waited significant times between courses.

I generally hate the pricy small plates concept (it better be absolutely amazing when you charge so much for so little food). However, this place really delivers. Everything is so delicious I'll break my usual rule. For a dinner experience order the whole roast duck, which comes as a series of small dishes each using different parts of the bird. Clever. Just expect to pay $$$ if you want to leave with a full stomach.

Amazing meal and service! Had the Brazino, and it was simply amazing. Everything was simply on key. The waiter was amazing and never allowed neither the water or wine to be poured by us. My wife and I loved it! Wolfgang did not disappoint.

Used to be amazing, but has gotten worse in the last two years. Last time we went, we were the only people in the bar on a Friday. Ordered from the bar menu. The salmon cones were great, but everything else was just average. Some of the noodle dishes came out cold. Service was good.
