Still a delightful and beautiful restaurant to dine at. My husband and I returned to living in the area after moving away five years ago. The Shrimp Boat hasn't skipped a beat. The service, menu, and food is wonderful. The location and views are relaxing.

Tonight, we met the friendliest host at Local Shrimp House Fresh Market! She made delicious food, and it was serves with welcoming conversation. I am not sure who is the boss is, but She definately deserves a raise!!

Our once favorite restaurant is just that.ONCE! New menu is to be desired. The fillet that has always been the best one in the country, is now mediocre at best. Too dry and overcooked. So disappointed! Shrimp scampi.5 shrimpthe rest dry pasta, no flavor. Will have to say our service was good. Probably won't be returning.

Great service from the greeting at the front door all the way to the end of our stay. The atmosphere is just right, from the lighting to the soft music, to the wonderful views of the bay. You can experience classy and upscale without the price tag. Perfect setting weather your looking for a romantic evening or a family meal. There are multiple places in the same location, and we decided to continue on to one of the other eatery, to watch the sunset from the deck. Will definitely come back to try the food at the Shrimp Boat.

My wife and I had dinner there on Thurs 7/20. Turns out the restaurant is under new ownership and their grand opening was planned for the following day. Even though they weren't officially open under new management we had a wonderful meal, prime rib and sea scallops which were both prepared perfectly. We had our meal in about 30 minutes which was completely satisfactory to us. We were not in a hurry and weren't looking for fast food. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the waterfront location is great, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Ivanna waited on us and took great care getting us everything we needed and checking on us frequently. We really had a great time there and will be back.

We had dinner last Wednesday and the food was amazing albeit service was somewhat sluggish; so we took the boat and tried again tonight with some family. It was likely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. After over 2 hours the entrees were nowhere in sight. The initial water took 30 minutes to get to the table and apps took 90 min. The server was embarrassed and started off by apologizing but then disappeared. The manager tried to talk us into staying a little longer when we finally just asked for our checks for what we had so far. What food we did get was good. It just was really difficult getting them to bring you anything. I really hope they get it together. We need more waterfront places to go but the total experience is not worth the price at this point.

We came to the restaurant to eat(family if 30). Was very excited because 2 years ago we all went and it was great! We were told it has changed so we looked up the reviews to make surethe reviews that were 2-5 days old prior to our visit were bad. We went regardless to the reviewsso the staff was good, they did the best they could. We ordered our appetizers and they came out fast and delicious. Our food however came out an hour or so later, not everyone received their food so they had to reorder. Out if 30 people, a hand full said their food was good. The steaks came out burnt,the fish came out smelly, and so the manager was called upon. The manager brought out the chef, chef said it was his first day there and he knew the food was not good but sent it out anyways. We were comped all our foods and that kind if relieved people for being there for over 3 hours and not having good food! Will we come backmaybe again next year if the reviews have gotten better.

We went here on a Sunday when they were trying out brunch and it was only three options for brunch the waiter couldn't split the bill up so we ended up paying for the table

What a hole. We waited almost 45 minutes just to be truly served. The food was absolutely horrible - tough, lukewarm and typical. I wish I would have not wasted my time. I've been here years ago and it was decent, but not anymore. Yuk.

Probably the worst fish I have ever had at a restaurant; overcooked, tough, and without flavor. Mashed potatoes also had no flavor, and poor texture. My brother got garlic bread that was inedible, we ended up just sending them back.

Epic fail. The service was crazy. 1 hour after getting a drink and still waiting for my order to be taken. Ended up leaving the table and went to the bar. At the bar service was great with only one person taking dinner orders and serving drinks for the entire restaurant.

It was pretty good. The atmosphere was very lonely. I think we were only 2 or 3 groups in the while restaurant. Food was average for steak houses. Enjoyed being on the water and our host was very good. It took some time to get out of there.
