Ordered the pork spare ribs and was thoroughly disappointed. My girlfriend ordered the pulled chicken bbq and was also let down. For a place named Porky's you'd think they would have good barbeque but no. Looked through the reviews for the place while I was here and confirmed my thoughts. Many other people thought the ribs were not good. Don't order the ribs!!

We went here for a late lunch (2pm) and the place wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Clam chowder soup was very tasty and would recommend. Fish tacos were good but too much breading for me. Coleslaw wasn't over dressed and good. The waiter was attentive and did good keeping our water filled. Also tried the key lime pie, tart and delicious.

There are better places to eat on the island. The waiter never cleared our empty cups or dishes. So when he brought more water, we all got new water cups. We didn't get what we ordered from the menu. He did not advise us of the specials. And when we got dessert for four he brought three forks. The lady who brought our dessert cleared our table to make room.

I was there July 10 2017. Can't speak for the BBQ as it's not something I wanted in the keys. I ordered the escargot and two dozen oysters and both were splendid. If you're looking for cheap fare this is not the place. But it's a cool spot, I enjoyed myself. Seems they also have live music and a bar.

Key Lime pie with a fluffy whipped texture which you must experience. Really a special variation on the traditional key lime pie. Well worth the stop every time. Staff is fun and knowledgeable. Location is lively and great for watching all sorts of on the water action. The menu has an unexpected variety of options. I always plan a stop here every time I visit the area. 😍❣️🍳😋❣️

We were seated immediately and got our drinks from Paul very shortly thereafter. No complaints about the service. The view was great. Everyone was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, but you kind of expect that when eating in an open air seating area. We tried conch fritters for the first time and decided they were not our favorite food, but that is mostly a matter of taste. The Key Lime aoli that came with it had a decent taste. In our party, we ordered brisket, pulled chicken, fried shrimp, and fried catfish. Of those, only the fried catfish got any complaints. My husband thought it was a bit mushy. We wish there was more than the two options available in terms of BBQ sauce (Spicy and Sweet Molasses) but we made due. The flavor of the other entrees was good. We came mainly for the atmosphere and enjoyed eating Bayside while listening to the love music.

Horrible experience. All the hype about an awesome barbecue place ,best in the area, fall off the bone ribs, wtf… What an joke!
I got news for you you don't make barbecue ribs taste good buy pouring on cold Bulls Eye barbecue sauce On top of a baseball glove.

Waiter was horrible and when I asked to see the manager she sounded interested in hearing feedback but instead of comping the meal she gave me a $3 discount.

I wouldn't have given one star but had to do that in order to do the review.

    Stay away from Porkys !

I do not recommend this place. The orders were wrong, fries were soggy and undercooked. Service was very slow and incorrect, even the reorder of a beer was wrong?! The only good was the Southern fried corn. Also a 10%off coupon received that AM from a snorkeling excursion was not accepted?!?! Don't bother!

I can not understand how anyone could rate this place 5 stars (or even 2 stars). We were vacationing in the Keys and thought some BBQ would be a nice change of pace. We had no idea what we were in store for. Wife and I both ordered the "pulled" pork and daughter ordered the "grilled" chicken. The pork was some weird chunks and was the most horrible food that we have ever tasted. Looked and tasted like something that been left in the fridge for a month and reheated. I took two small bites, thinking it couldn't taste as bad as it looked, but it was worse. Fries half cooked. Daughter's chicken was smashed to a thickness of about 1/2 inch and appeared to have been cooked on a flat top, no grill here. The grease had completely soaked through the wax paper in the basket. Just bad, no other way to describe experience. We just paid the bill and left. Wish we would have kept driving.

Staff is very friendly and service is good, but food is terrible and way expensive. Pulled pork $18, 1lb of peel and eat shrimp $22, really people! This is more expensive than the menu at our resort (1lb of shrimp $18). Since the entre's were so expensive we decided to have a couple of appetizers with our beers, calamari and homade hush puppies. Disgusting, both!!! Worst calamari I have ever tasted. Way over cooked, tasted burnt, very hard to chew and zero flavor. Couldn't even finish the small portion. Hush puppies were more tolerable but still not worth the money or calories, no flavor at all. Extremely disappointed we wasted money here. Step your game up Porky's!!!

Nice place, really enjoyed the NC pulled pork dinner. Ate there again a couple days later, not as impressed with the fish tacos. The waitress remembered and greeted us, good prompt service. Good variety of beers, some locally brewed.
