This is the probably one of the best places for food in the country!!!! The food is EXCELLENT, really. The must haves are the Somosa Soup and Burmese Fried Rice.
This hotel is truly nice. The decor is very appealing. The restaurant was excellent. The staff was very nice. We had a joining rooms which was nice. The pool area was great too. There was a little confusion with the street taco order on pool movie night, but overall I do recommend The Sanford House Inn & Spa. We were there for two nights and they had a free shuttle to Universal.
A+ experience! We had a kid free get away in the Bristol cottage it was perfect. We didn't get to celebrate our anniversary in April so this was wonderful. Breakfast staff and atmosphere has no match. Thank you for making our stay memorable
My husband took me there for our 8th wedding anniversary. From the time we arrived until we left the following day all employees were very friendly and helpful. The food in their 506 Restaurant was delicious but had limited specialty choices and most items were pricey. A complimentary breakfast was delivered to our room the next morning. The grounds where beautiful and well maintained.
It's a great place to spend some quiet time with the one you love.
This place is everything!! The pecan crab cake benedicts are amazing! So flavorful & and the roasted potatoes just melt in your mouth. Highly reccomend the Hibiscus & Grapefruit mimosas. The staff is very friendly and attentive without being over bearing. My friend and I sat on the patio & it was such a nice view of the garden. Definitely will be back here very soon!
Staff and service top notch. Love the amuse-bought and sorbet. Desserts are to die for. My ribeye was tough and not worth the price.
First-class comfort food served at weekend brunch. Priced right, attentive service. Highly recommend.
Everything about this stay was amazing. Quality food and drinks at the restaurant, cottage was quiet and secluded. Jacuzzi style bath tub. Large bathroom, sitting area, breakfast nook, comfortable beds. If I'm ever in the Arlington area again, I will stay here.
Excellent brunch menueasy to see why it's in the Top One Hundred restaurants in the U.S. for brunch. Great prices and service
Pros: antique furniture and charm. Very clean and polite staff. Cons: noisy on a busy road and super soft mattresses. On weekend breakfast is only served from 7-9am. Way too early. Brunch should be included instead to make this 5 star and worth the price.
This place is impressive. I was looking for a place that could accommodate 12 people for a 3-day girls weekend. This place was perfect. I rented two cottages, one for my sleeping room and a relationship chat and the other one next door for two guests, and in case we got too noisy. Some guests stayed in the main house, which overlooks the courtyard. Absolutely beautiful. This worked better than paying hourly for a party space and catering [food and drinks].
Everyone was great to work with. Breakfast and brunch were incredible, and the ladies enjoyed their massages and foot reflexology at the spa across the street.
I almost hate to share this one. The place is tiny and I might not be able to get in if too many people try it. We hit on it by accident when a friend flew into Arlington airport and had a little time to catch a meal. So, we were there at the 5:30 opening and started at the bar. Wow, a man sized drink for sure! The we moved to the dining room which was only a few feet away. There wee three of us with big smiles as we finished our wonderfully prepared meals. We are not in Arlington often and it is 50 miles from home but I would certainly want to eat here again next time we are in town!
I was not impressed with smelling mulch Friday and Saturday as we prepared for a wedding. Also the hole at the gate of the villa needs to be fixed.
For the price of one night I the villa, was quite surprised to see how much they advertised Angel Soft Kleenex and toilet paper. Also the panel on the jet rub is warped and the shower curtain does not fit.
For $400/night, I expected the absolute best of the best. Creme de La Creme far from it.
Can I just say I loved this place. Like looooooved this place :)
We came to see GnR at Cowboy Stadium (nearby) and decided to just make it a romantic getaway. I found Sanford on trip advisor and was so happy I did. We booked the Riviera Cottage and got a beautiful HUGE room (really dining, living, bed and bathroom). I seriously think it was bigger than my first apartment. It was well decorated, clean, stocked and quiet (even being by a busy street). Plus it had the added benefit of having its own parking out front and gated access.
Loved staying here. The Inn was perfect for what we wanted - we got our own private little cottage and used the free breakfast a couple times. The AC worked awesome in the cottage, btw.
Everyone here was super nice. We used the shuttle service to go to the stadium. Van - the guy who drives the van - was super cool and said hi to us the rest of the time we stayed there and remembered our name.
We even tried the spa, which is right across the street.
I'd definitely come back and stay here.
We wanted somewhere in town to spend the night as our single night honeymoon.
It. Is. Beautiful.
We stayed during winter, and can only imagine how beautiful it would have been in spring or summer. It's a tiny place but it's quiet and secluded and beautiful. We stayed in the Regency cottage and it was well worth the extra money. It was huge and we could definitely have stayed for weeks had we had the time and money. Breakfast was a stand out. The chef made everything to order and the coffee is to die for. Best cup of coffee I've ever had. The staff were wonderful, the room was beautiful. Only place I'll start from now on in Fort Worth!
On 9/3/2016, my husband and I had our beautiful romantic garden wedding at the Sanford House. Krista was our event coordinator; she was helpful, responsive, professional, flexible, and personable. The grand courtyard’s grounds are clean, quiet, and well-manicured. The blooming flowers, swaying trees, and twinkling string lights create an atmosphere anyone would fall in love with. I stayed in the Verona cottage the night-before and the night-of the wedding. The cottage turned into my little bridal home for the weekend; I HIGHLY recommend a bride stay on property. Our guests said the food was delicious. We are so happy we chose the Sanford House; we are thinking of celebrating our first anniversary there!
I had a wonderful day at the Spa. A friend gave me a gift card for one of their packages. The massage with Maggie was AMAZING! I LOVE HER! Lunch was absolutely delicious. My facial and body scrub was so relaxing and left my skin feeling SO GOOD. I enjoyed my manicure and pedicure, but that may have just been the nail technician. I wonder if she just hasn't been doing it long. I will stick to my usual nail salon, but I am definitely coming back for the other services!!!
