Everything was great, we went the perfect time of year to enjoy all the snow. The only thing that would have been better is if the gift shop was open as well.

Really great place to stay. Especially given there are not many options up there. The restaurant is worth driving up to even if not staying there. Only complaint is there was no Wi-Fi and with zero cell coverage there it made communication for travel difficult (had to drive 8 miles down the road for coverage).

Good food.
Not just typical pub fare or faux high end hotel food. They offer their Mountain Meat stew which includes buffalo and wild boar and is worth the drive alone. Hotel accommodations are not the greatest but it is an older property. Great place for a getaway. My wife and I also had our wedding and reception up here. The location was perfect and the staff never missed a beat. Great experience.response / report this review
